I am only on Chapter 6 of LALD. Wondering ahead, does Jaws appears in any of the novels (watched MR this morning, wonderful)?

Jaws does not appear in any of Ian Fleming's James Bond novels. He is,however,in the two novelizations Christopher Wood wrote in the late 1970s, which he based upon his original screenplays for EON's The Spy Who Loved Me and Moonraker motion pictures.

These books are titled:James Bond-The Spy Who Loved Me and James Bond and Moonraker. They were published in hardcover in the United Kingdom and as paperbacks in the United States in 1977 and 1979 respectively.

Ian Fleming's The Spy Who Loved Me novel bears no resemblance whatsoever to the motion picture of the same name, but it does feature a minor villain who may have served as a partial inspiration for Christopher Wood when he created Jaws. This is the gangster called "Horror", who, although ordinary-sized, has metal teeth.

    You're welcome.:)

If you're interested, there's an excellent interview with screenwriter/novelist Christopher Wood over on the website

    Dr.Shatterhand's Botanical Garden

Wood talks in some detail about his experiences writing both The Spy Who Loved Me and Moonraker movies and their companion novelizations.
