Daniel Craig - after Bond

Ok, so I think we all agree that James Bond is (one of) the greatest film roles that an actor can play, and I know that a fair amount of us here at AJB love what Daniel Craig is doing with the character, but I was thinking, where to from here? Once Craig has finished his run (3 films, 5, 7, 10, however long that may be) what famous role could he play next?
Perhaps he could star as Jay Garrick, the original Flash (from DC Comics)? My twin brother is a BIG comic book fan, so I Paintbrushed this image for him. But I was wondering, who would you like to see Daniel Craig play next?

I've got a feeling Daniel will want to stay away from franchise characters for a while.

I want him to play XXXX in Layer Cake 2. There was a sequel to the book, and I want there to be a sequel to the movie.

I didn't know there was a sequel. The ending looked pretty final.

Trust me HH, if a film is successful enough, there will always be a sequel. :D Even if it means resurrecting the dead hero, the studios will figure out a way to make another *$100 million. :))

*Or however much the original made.

Well he's got two on the go at the same time; Bond and Lord Asriel!

Exactly. The film could start with Craig saying it was only a flesh wound.Or maybe his assassin missed.

Or he could even be reanimated like the Frankenstein monster. An errant bolt of lightning during a London rainstorm strikes his grave and within seconds,XXXX emerges from the ground-his eyes gleaming with excitement...

That's right. I forgot about Lord Asriel. I've literally never heard of him. I'm not really into fantasy, Lord of the Rings type stuff. Unless they make it gritty :D

Given the amount of blood on the pavement, that may be the only plausible way to do it. :))

XXXX didn`t die, he has his eyes openen entirely in the end (sorry if somebody haven`t see Layer Cake) in the dvd commentary the director and the writer say something about a sequel.

I i had the money, i will pay gold to make "Bullitt" with Daniel Craig as Frank Bullitt, i mean, he is just the same, or "The Thomas Crown Affair" with Daniel Craig as Thomas Crown, or just anything with Steve McQueen on it (he looks the same)
