If you're referring to Internet Webpage history?
If so, open a window, then select:
Tools, Internet Options, Clear History, YES.
If you're referring to recent files you have looked at, then select:
Start, My Recent Documents, then right-click each file and select Delete, YES.

I'm guessing that you want to delete your browsing history. What I do when I clear my history (my cookies) is I first go up top to the tool bar. In the Safari drop down menu you should be able to clear your cache. I do that. After I clear my cache, i go to the Safari drop down menu again and reset safari. This usuall clears all my cookies. Of course, I have to sign back into any forums I visit and all my past google searches are lost. Hope this helps.
