EON/MGM - Please do a proper Casino Royale

  even if they did and it resemble the novel. I personally don't think ' Casino Royale' is an apt title for the new millenium, it deos sound very 50's/60's. We need something more vicious like Tomorrow Never dies, Die Another Day etc

  EON finally got round to buying the rights for the Casino Royale book a few years ago. I heard that Brosnan was eager to star in a Bond film based on a Fleming book and I assumed it would get underway, but instead we got DAD. I hope they do get round to doing it. As much as I enjoyed DAD its time to return to the grittier Bond of the books and give Brosnan some real acting to do.

  i think it would be great if bond 21 was CR, it may be brosnans last and it would be great to see him in a fleming based film

  Interesting to look at these posts now that this has happened. I'd be curious to think if these posters thought this was in fact a "proper" treatment of Casino Royale...
