I'm sure you are, because hopefully you're going to be in it! :D ...yeah, ok. Anyhoo, I now know that the link to the script is bad, so I'm fixing that tomorrow morning. Also, I looked up some tutorials on Bryce 5 (a 3D program) and there are some nice tutes there that will help me make a very impressive PTS. The original (The one that is written in the script) was simple yet effective, where Bond is on a small island church. There he finds two men trying to assasinate Sir Malcome, a political figure. Bond stops them with very little action. He sends rooftop sniper through to the ground by shooting the beam beneath him, and shoots the other, making him fall into a boat, then kicking the boat out into the water and saying "Boun Voyage" or however the hell you spell that. It is a little too simple for my taste so I'm re-writing it. Which means I can't post a script until I'm done correcting the entire script, so it will be up by tomorrow evening at the earliest. Alrigty, well, back to the movie!

Ok, so I finally have a set premiere date! I'm hoping to release the movie onto my website on April 29th, 2005. That gives me all of March to record, take stills, mo-cap, and animate. Then I have 3 weeks in April to edit and "package" onto my site. So....yeah. Come on people, post! I don't like double posting but it's the only way to bump!!

Hehe... Okay, Doug. So what else can you tell us about the movie? For instance, how long will it be?

Oh, good question. The script is almost word-for-word with the fan fiction, so that will be about 30 minutes, plus a special 10-15 minute PTS I wrote myself to start the whole thing off!

I've read the novel and it's great.

Can you tell us anything about the PTS?

I'm busy at the moment so I'll give you the short version:

Bond is investigating a riverside campsite where three sister assasins are collecting rubies for The Knight, Bond is attacked by a helicopter, but he destroys that, then he gets in a big gunfight with the girls, and then the girls' boss confronts Bond, they get in a fight, he retrieves the rubies and then we cut to the title sequence! When the script is finished I'll post it here for everyone to see, but right now I have to go!

Forgive me for asking, but how will you achieve the voice acting without any professional help?

Well, royalmile is playing Bond, and he has teh right equipment at home, and I have had experience with my school's professional microphones, so that won't be a problem to have some of my fellow actors from our school's drama club playing the other roles. As for everyone else...don't think that because I am 16 that this will be another amateur piece of ****, because it isn't and it will be just as good, if not better than the novella it was adapted from.

    I believe it'll be great, C97.

Everything I've heard about it is great. And the source novella is great, too.
The animation looks terrific also...what's the latest?

Incidentally, just to help answer the previous question, I have a fair bit of professional theatre experience in the UK and Canada, plus I've done some voiceover, TV and movie work.
So while it's not big-time stuff, there is some pro experience there.
And I'll do my best to make sure that the movie gets what it needs! :)

    Anybody there?

Well everyone, since I've been gone I've more or less mastered all these programs I was going to use for this film.

Because I'm working toward a career as a filmmaker, I think it would be smart to finsh this film!

I'm putting together a portfolio to send to NYU over the summer to show them I'm worth accepting (on a scholarship, I hope) and a fully CGI animation like Knight of Shadows would be a great addition.

I've already started animating the gun barrel sequence, so as soon as thats done, I'll post my work in progress on youtube and a link for you here.

Alright, I put a "Work in Progress" gun barrel sequence on youtube for everyone.

Basically, I animated the dots going across the screen, then used the Nightfire game opening, and animated the "fade in" after that.

THIS IS A WORK IN PROGRESS!! I will be digitally extrapolating the Nightfire Bond and adding the Knight of Shadows Bond as soon as I have animated that piece. Also, while this was uploading, I made some minor changes

I made the gunshot sound effect louder[/*]

I made the "fade in" circle rounder when it grows, so it doesn't have that oval shape toward the end[/*]

I faded the white out of the barrel sooner.[/*]
Any feedback would be appreciated.

Looks good Doug. One thing I might suggest is maybe making a little more contrast in the gunbarrel itself.
