Attention Target Shoppers....

OK, just came back from lunch and my shopping spree of the DVD. The Target deluxe package is NOT a making of DVD but rather a mini version of the Bond On Set book. It is VERY cool. Also picked up the Best Buy car and DVD and this is certainly the best giveaway. The car is amazingly detailed and comes with fun facts about the movie. FYE had a relativelly lame poster they gave to me with my DVD and Walmart's card set was a winner.

Happy hunting all!

Thanks for the info. I will be going to get my DVD now and I was wondering which one I should go for. I think I will pick up the Best Buy version.

Well, I managed to hit three stores at lunch today (Best Buy, Target, and Wal-Mart).

Hope you're able to see my pictures!

    Target
I already have the book, but I couldn't pass this one up!

I've pre-ordered my DVD from HMV in the UK, and it too is coming with the mini Bond On Set book.

Just to let you know that you CAN buy just the corgi DBS from Best Buy (it was $9.99)- although they don't advertise it as such.

    Thanks,

True, but my Best Buy had the set on sale for $15 so for $5 more you get a DVD to give to a friend...

I purchased the Wal Mart and Best Buy DVD's. I was going to just buy the car also but I came to the same conclusion as Mantis.

I was tempted to buy the Target version but figured I would be better off just buying the Bond on Set book on its own. For anyone who has both is there anything that makes the Target mini book better than the actual book.

I hate to buy multiple copies of the DVD because I am sure that they will come out with another disc with more special features.:s

You may wish to consider buying the original book by itself. Upon initial inspection, the Target book has all of the pictures that the original book has, but doesn't include the mini interview with Daniel Craig in the back.

Also, in the Target book, the picture descriptions are included on the picture pages themselves (well some, anyway) not in the back (like the original). However, both books still cut Daniel Craig down the middle in the last cast & crew photo!

I consider the Target book a nice 'extra', but not to replace the original book.:)

Thanks. It looks like I will be purchasing another James Bond book.:D
