Golden Wonder 007 Watch

Hi, I recently came across three 007 watches. These watches were part of a promotion by Golden Wonder crips in the early - mid 1990's. The watch has a black rubber strap, metal shoulders (with the 007 logo on them) and a blue digital face sporting several function icons. I have three of these watches, still in their Golden Wonder promo boxes, they even have a protective clear sticker over the watch face. I am about to put them up for auction on eBay but know very little about them. Does anyone have a watch like this or have any information on this item? Many thanks Kinesis

I have no idea. But post the links so I can look when there on. Also found this when looking for some information. Quite old but I wonder how those statistcs would have changed now.

Same offer here. You can PM me through ajb007, or send me an eMail with images from there, and I'll see if I can help.

I'll post a link when I put them on eBay. I've spent a long time searching the 'net for these watches and found nothing. I'm begining to think I was the only person to send away to Golden Wonder for them LOL I might just put two watches on eBay and keep one just incase they are rarer than I thought :)

    hi,

I have the watches and the crisp packets that correspond, I think they came out in about 1998, 5 crisp vouchers and £2 got you the watch. Not terrifically valuable £10 - £20 but quite a nice looking piece and a good addition for not a lot of cash to a 007 watch section

WOW, thank you for the info. I was sure these watches came out earlier than 1998, but if you have the crisp packets you'll have a better idea. I'll use this info for my eBay ad (coming soon, I'll post a link). Thanks again :D

Do be sure to let us know, though why I want another "cute" Bond watch I'm not sure ...

And yet, we so often do!

Figure out a "cure" and you will let me know, right?

Having just looked at the photo's on ebat of this watch doesn anyone else think it could be the watch on discussion here:

    http://www.ajb007.co.uk/index.php?topic=28936

The meter on the watch looks like it possible could be the one mentioned on the post - and the back of the crisp packet does mention the N64 Goldeneye game.

    Just a thought
