Because that is the name of the Casino. The Casino in which Bond defeats Le Chiffre is named "Casino Royale".

But still: why a royalE? It doesn't make sence

casino is a 'male' word, and royale is 'female'

If you'll translate (Enlish-French) it, you'll get: le casino royal.. not le casino royalE

But Casino Royal isn't it's name, it's Royale, much like my mothers maiden name was Tremayne and not Tremayn. Translations don't apply to names.

It probably has something to do with (in the book) the Casino being situated in the French town of Royale-les-Eaux.

Justice, out of curiousity, why did you need this info so badly? It is a strange little tidbit, isn't it? Doesn't sound all that important. :))
