TRACY WEDDING RING PROP GOLD PLATED OHMSS BOND 007
I would never buy anything ever again from jbworldprop, the No 1 ring they are selling is total crap, painted, not mother of pearl like they said, I bought one over a year ago, told them it was crap and not as advertised, and never herd anything back. they sell the same sort of quality as another company called costumebase, only costumebase sell a lot cheaper.

Thanks for the heads up. I notice their props once and awhile and never think much of it, I've just never seen that particular ring before in prop form.

Don't know if that's your own ebay account Asp9mm, but I'm afraid the Roger Moore autograph is a fake

Are you 100% sure. I got this from someone on this very board I've removed it until confirmed.
I'm 99.9% sure, but I have PMd one of our other autograph collectors (Tilly Masterson) and asked him to double-check. Trouble is, now you've removed it, he won't be able to see it! Can you put a picture up here so it can be seen?
I have about 15 of Roger's autographs (and have seen hundreds more) and the R and M look suspect. Hope I am wrong (and will apologise and grovel accordingly if I am) but I wouldn't risk upsetting another forum member if I wasn't pretty sure.
I've seen fakes on here before but always bit my lip at the time and when I finally decide I should say something, someone else has made the same comment (usually Tilly).
Andy.

Quite right Andy mate! I can't see the picture of the Moore autograph to give my opinion, so could Asp9mm please stick a scan of it up (you can host it through www.imageshack.us or www.photobucket.com.) Once you do that, I'll let you know if I think it's the real mccoy or not.

Although I haven't seen the scan to comment, from what you have said that seems to be a common problem amongst the scammers who conjure up thousands of fakes. This is where they go wrong, they will always get the 'R' and 'M' wrong by making it more curlier than Roger's authentic sig!
See scan at very bottom of post for an idea of a fake and a genuine one.
You and I have bought autographs from Roger via his signings with Bondstars, so we are obviously certain that it is the real deal when it comes to his signature!
Asp9mm - this link shows the difference between a real and fake. http://www.bondcollectibles.de/referenc … _moore.php
But yep, I totally agree with Disco Volante that the autograph you had on Ebay must have been a fake, something serious collectors totally deplore and do not condone.
FAKE: GENUINE:
Jamie - it's here:
Terrible shame that someone actually paid for this, definately a fake. The worrying part is that he said he bought it from a fellow forum poster, I just hope they thought it was real as well and didn`t `sting the poor bloke.

I've been speaking to the chappy I got it off and he still swears it is real as he obtained it from RM himself I have no need to distrust him and the item will remain with me now so as to avoid any misconceptions in the future.
Thanks Andy for the scan.
That is most definetaly a fake, how they can even say it is genuine, I do not know!
Glad we're agree.
Asp9mm - sorry to be the bearer of bad news
