I'm intrigued -- he has a genuinely handsome, classic film look about him . . . that photo could easily have been taken in the late 50s or early 60s. He doesn't have the standard mannequin or suburban handsome look of so many "stars" of the past few decades, and like Craig, his face has interest. I don't care that he's 5' 9" but that might be because that's my height! And I do have a 32-inch inseam, or at least that's the size I select. It's actually just over 31, but you can't get off-the-rack slacks or jeans in odd inseam lengths in the States.

Oh, and I could kick your ass.

This would be a repeat of the Lazenby incident.
It's all right. It's quite all right, really. She's having a rest. We'll be going on soon. There's no hurry, you see. We have all the time in the world.

But with more self-interest and less self-destruction possibly?

Well done Asset Management! A piece of very weak PR, way too early and poorly executed.

I seem to say this all the time, but as far as the next Bond is concerned, can't we wait until the current one is near the endo of his term first? Mr Craig has only done two so far!

Plus if ANYTHING has been proved by Eon, they know what they are doing when it comes to casting. - Far beyond any of us.
It's a fair point that we should wait until Craig nears the end of his tenure before we disuss his replacement, but I don't think that Eon has proved that they know what they are doing when it comes to casting. Commercially, yes, but artistically?

While they have made some wonderful decisions, they've also made some highly questionable ones; although which decisions were wonderful and which were questionable obviously depends on the individual. For me, the casting of Dalton and Craig were questionable in the extreme, so I'm not going to place my faith in Eon to pick the right replacement. IMO the casting of Craig, rather than Owen, was one of the worst decisions in the history of the series, as Owen IMO had the potential to be one of the all-time greats, while Craig is in my bottom two. Finally, putting aside commercial considerations; whether or not the producers could do a better job than us (artistically speaking) in casting is irrelevant. The relationship between the filmmaker and the viewer demands that the viewer honestly evalute the film, even if it means them choosing whether or not to see it again. How good the viewer would be at casting is arguably completely unimportant.

Firstly, Holy ****ing Christ on the Connery pick. Jesus.

Secondly not to bring up another sore subject for those Owen fans, but he would have been absolutely terrible. The last thing 007 needs is a Brosnan act alike billy badass. I just can't even rap my head around having Owen as Bond, I would most likely stop watching Bond Films. This isn't Shoot'Em Up or International, its James Bloody Bond for Christ sake.
