    Congrats markus, truly a beautiful bond prop... -{

    Regarding any other tangential, irrelevant matters, all I can say is, I detest rubbernecking...

    It only takes one, and everyone else is forced to slowdown and participate in the unseemly pointless waste of a life...

    But what's worse, is the Levite who passes by when a young man lies in trouble, then questions the motive of the Samaritan who tries to offer help.

    Better let life lessons be learned for a young man than be a Samaritan just looking for praise.

    Hello old friend. Glad that you like the ring.

    I really appreciated your assistance in that matter and still do.
    Problem is and was that we had a stubborn angry young man that refused often the offered helping hands from others.

    Additionally he was not very friendly so say it politely and I for my part took a lot of flak (which I totally deserved :D ).

    Anyhow I really like your spirit of unconditional help and I know that in your case it has nothing to do with just seeking public praise (bullshit!)

    - on a sidenote: you should reply to your private emails a bit better :D

    That is an exceedingly rare piece. To put it in perspective, OHMSS did not generate a lot of tie-ins in the form of toys and collectibles. Then you have the ring that James Bond gives to his wife and the relative rarity of the rings that were apparently sold around the time of OHMSS (they just don't turn up). Add to that the fact that OHMSS is considered one of the best Bond films ever by the cognoscenti and couple that with the provenance of the ring in your possession and you have a star in your collection. It's stunning that you have one! Simply stunning! Enjoy it in good health!

    You are right DG, I honestly thought I would never see this ring, it is rare enough in photo form let alone being able to hold what is as good as the real thing.

    It is truly the ultimate prop, others have only ever been able to guess at what the ring looks like, and it is truly amazing being able to hold it ;%

    This could never have been pulled off without Markus :x -{

    Regarding the ring - I had the same thoughts - and different to the OHMSS ring I can not imagine that I'll ever see the MR cam..... ;%

    Let me get this straight, Markus has a lovely shiny ring with which great care should be taken when handling, especially polishing, and he's got a beautiful velvet lined box too, and he's let a privileged few get their hands on them?

    The double entendre-o-meter just buried the needle. ;% :))

    Odd Job's hat off to you on the wedding Ring - Fantastic Work :007)

    looks stunning - what a beauty..... -{ nice work... Looking at the
    ''Arts Galore Of London's Replica Wedding'' that was made in 1969
    and looking at the wedding ring in the film... It looks like a different
    style of wedding ring - Hardly any photos exist of the ring from the
    film and the Arts Galore, replica... Odd since one of the replicas
    supposedly sold at a Christies Auction in recent years, But never been
    able to find any info or photos of it.....

    The Arts Galore ring came in a vintage style of box... like this

    $(KGrHqN,!rUE-lO7S!hGBP8LTwGFLQ~~60_12.JPG

    its a shame the cut scenes from OHMSS werent kept in, when you see
    Bond and Tracy shopping and choosing the ring, with Irma Bunt watching
    them from outside... a few photos of it are around but not in great detail

    Anyway.... Great Work BONDTOYS :) :007) :) -{

    Hello Mick,

    thank you for the kind words.
    The mentioned 1998 Christie's replica ring was pulled for unknown reasons prior to the auction, so it was never really sold.
    That's probably one of the reasons why we've never gotten more pics from it.

    My ring matches with the screen seen ring as Pete found out yesterday and prove it. Great work mate, you are my star! :x

    Markus, I don't consider your OHMSS ring to be a replica mate, it's that accurate that I'd consider it to be classed as a continuation of the original rings.

    Its stunning mate, the most accurate 'home brew' project I've seen.

    Thanks mate, but that Christie's ring I would also NOT define to be a replica in that context.
    It's as accurate as mine ;)

    Now that Arts Galore ring 8-) wouldn't THAT be something for you to replicate? :D

    Aghh I see thanks for the info guys.. :007) mmmm... wonder why
    it was pulled... I am sure in one of the Bond Ref Books.. there is a
    mention of one selling at Auction aside from the Christies Auction..
    if there are Arts Galore rings out there... wonder why no good photos
    have ever came about.. it would certainly boost their profiles a bit

    some sources claim it was never actualy produced ... :# an intended
    production ring to be sold to the public... but never was..... I have read
    But it clearly was available... for 10 Shillings.... or something like that ..

    JUST IMAGINE how great an investment a load of them would have been
    back in 1969.... wonder if any Bond fan ever gave his other half One as
    their wedding ring...

    Like I say outstanding work on the Ring... Both of You.... stunning :007)
