Am I the only one that really doesn't want Blofeld back?
Don't get me wrong, I'd like a 'Blofeld-esque' character that is the leader of Quantum. But Blofeld himself, with the cat, and SPECTRE? I feel all that is part of bond history, part of the Connery era, and should stay that way...
You are not alone, my friend. I just don't see Blofeld fitting into the modern Bond era. But I wouldn't be surprised if the series heads in that direction again given the throwback elements that were put into place at the end of SF.
As an idea for the PTS ( if Blofeld was to return ) ............
In keeping with the quantum idea for holding meetings in public places. During a big sporting event
( football, tennis or grand Prix ) several quantum members are shown discussing their latest plan,
inter cut with crowd scenes and a figure in a private bix ( reflections on the glass preventing seeing
his face, interior shots would be against the sunlight ).
Blofeld would say something about taking full control himself, causing the quantum members
Starting to violently twitch ( maybe foam at the mouth slightly ) , he just electrocuted all of
quantum.
I think this would tie together the older idea of Blofeld killing ( his less useful people ), but
Keeping quantum as set up in QOS.
Then into titles. )
