EA's From Russia With Love & Everything or Nothing

Everything or Nothing in my humble option is one of the best James Bond video games ever produced by EA. In addition to the third person sections, their are many stages that involve driving/ operating vehicles that help to keep the game from becoming boring. Also their are many espionage activities that you engage in to gather information which is something that has been lacking in the Activision released games apart from Goldeneye and Blood Stone.

You should defiantly consider picking this game up.

Everything or Nothing was, for me, the best Bond game released and I have played them all. It had a nice mix of weapons, gadgets and play styles. Graphically, the game looked really nice and even supported widescreen TVs which were just starting to become more prevalent at the time. The difficulty was just right and the game was challenging but never frustrating.

From Russia With Love on the other hand was a real step backwards. The game simply didn't control or play all that well with all kinds of framerate hiccups, vague objectives, really poorly designed sections and oddly placed checkpoints which led to having to replay certain levels over and over. Even though it was released after EoN, graphically it was a step backward and Connery's voiceovers were pretty bland and he sounded quite old. There was speculation that Electronic Arts had already moved its best teams onto projects for the Xbox 360 and PS3 (both of which were close to being released) and that less experienced and talented developers were put to work on FRWL. It might be worth a look if it can be had for under $5 or $10 at most but I honestly wouldn't pay more than that.

From Russia with Love was a poor choice to make as a Bond game. A huge missed opportunity too as they got Connery to voice. They could have made a real good game. I think I posted hints about what I would do around here. I think to any Bond and videogame fan the idea is obvious. Too bad the people working on or behind the scenes could not have been either. The game itself is by the numbers and nothing special at all.

Everything or Nothing is a lot better. It's an ok game. Probably a 7 or so. I still think Goldeneye is the best Bond game. Or Perfect Dark if you want another spy game. But that goes towards sci-fi too.

I'm a Bondfan because EON, I was 5 when my parents gave it to my brother, and I saw him playing it, after he was done with de GameCube, I turned it on and I played hours and hours, same with DAD, first Bondfilm I saw, I can't hate it, it's an special one for me. But EON gave me a lovely feeling, it was so fantastic for a young boy. The plot is weird, the game is way too sci fi, but I didn't care, I couldn't speak English in the days (it's still crappy) so I had to do it with what I could do, the missions. They were fun and all different. Oh, and there are cars, little me loved cars haha.

From Russia With Love was my second Bondgame, the graphics are bad, but the gameplay is fine, it's fun to plays with de DB5 and jetpack. It's following the storyline quite well. I think it's a good one, beside the graphics. And Connery, well, he sounds old, but what did you espect, a time traveling voice, a young Connery? M and Q are fine, so are Klebb, Grand and Kerim. Only Penny sounds a bit weird, but overall, it's fun.

I with I had of played FRWL. I don't know why I never picked it up.

I have played Everything or Nothing.  Excellent game.  Have not got around to playing FRWL.

I'm foggy about EON, I don't remember any of the shooter missions just a driving level in South America or something and another one later where you're on the bridge in New Orleans.  FRWL I never finished.  I bought it right when it came out then took it home all excited and played the first level or two.  I remember being disappointed in the gameplay and even though I didn't make a conscious decision to never play it again the game just wound up collecting dust all these years.  I still plan on playing it some day but I don't currently have a console that can play it.
