I was listening to an internet radio station on Live 365 and this song popped on:

I had no idea this existed, I wonder if there are more like this, really cool lounge version of the Thunderball soundtrack song of the same name. Any of you guys ever herd this one?

Yes, it's a nice version and one of my favourite covers of Bond music. Have you heard Roland Shaw's versions of various pieces of music from the early films? Here's his OHMSS- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xD-WkfYn3vQ though I prefer his take on "007".

I've always liked the Roland Shaw versions too- had them on vinyl as a teenager and recently bought them in CD (he also did some great versions of other spy themes too).

Franck Pourcel's take on the Bond themes is also a personal favourite, though not to everyone's taste. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ITRhqqbBLKU ... gives a little taster.

Trawling through iTunes there are some good variations such as the Acoustic James Bond tracks and some more modern dance versions too.

Its facinating listening to someone elses orchistration of Mr Barrys music, very good too.
Goldfinger, OHMSS and LALD all made me sit up.

Heres a question, the lyricalless version of Die Another Day played over the Ice Palace party, was that ever released as a track? Madonnas singing I can take or leave, but the theme itself is great.
This is Thunderbird 2, how can I be of assistance?

IIRC, no. It's not on the album. Haven't listened in years though!
