Thread closing killjoys

I had my thread about LALD closed yesterday, fair enough it was a boring post. But the mod who closed the Richard Keil tribute thread without even a short note aught to be ashamed of themselves. Not giving fans the chance to share memories of meetings/photos? Surely that's what a forum like this is for?

    There is a great big Tributes Thread, right at the top of the page !
    ( If people would take the time to look) same goes for the Bond
    On TV and Radio thread, Big stickie, Top of Page ! I believe these
    Are there to try and keep all similar posts in the one thread, making it easier
    For members to share their views, opinions and tributes. {[]

    That would be me - and I'm not ashamed in the slightest.

    I'd love to hear your reasons as to why I should be ashamed though - best done via PM to stop clogging the forums up....

    As noted - and shown - there is already a very serviceable thread for this.

    Your LALD thread was closed as - in previous times - several people open their own thread all stating the current Bond film on TV...hence a dedicated thread being opened for it...I don't always link to the relevant thread you should use due to time or the device I'm using...sorry you are upset by this practice.

    Yeah you guys are right. I can't see the tribute thread in the bond film or general bond forums though. Sorry for whining, the volunteer mods do a good job providing this forum with decorum. :)
