"The Writing's on the Wall" and "The World is Not Enough"

Hello guys:

Am I the only one who thinks "The Writing's on the Wall" might've used "The World is Not Enough" as a template?

Both choruses seem to have 5 note structures and the intro from the more recent song seems to be a modification of the older one.

Just curious as to people's thoughts on this.

I can hear some pretty strong similarities at the beginning of the song, but I find the chorus different because of the high-notes, the song stops and starts - TWINE flows all the way through.

Wow! Strange that you post this!

I found myself thinking the same thing, but I kind of dismissed it. But after seeing SP that song has been running through my head at least once a day!

The title song is incredibly catchy, I find myself humming it a lot. IMO, an excellent title song for an excellent movie -{

Like ABBA's song Voulez-Vous, it was loosely inspired by the disco version of the Bond theme or Bond 77 from TSWLM where Bond skis on the alps.

BTW, the title song Writing's on the Wall was loosely based from Pink Floyd's song "Another Brick in the Wall"
