    I own the Wild Geese.
that's a fantastic film, Moore plays a much darker character. In one gripping scene he forces someone to swallow a bag full of heroin.
Mamma Mia is a classic. I have a soft spot for it.
Dalton's villainous role in Hot Fuzz is a sure-fire winner.
Connery did a good job in Finding Forrestor and I love The Rock.

The Wild Geese isn't my cup of tea because it's just not my sort of film, but yes, Moore was very dark here, and by far the best aspect of the film.

Moore is only used well in that first scene and does a brilliant job with it. In the rest of the film he has nothing to do. It's not his fault, but the character he establishes at the beginning is just wasted as someone only in the background.

Gold starring Roger Moore was mentioned earlier in this thread. I remember enjoying that very much when I watched it. It was directed by Peter Hunt, and if I remember correctly, it even had a Maurice Binder title sequence. One to revisit, I think. I remember Moore and Susannah York having some good chemistry and sharing some pleasant moments in the bath together. I enjoyed the South African context of the story (it is my home country) and I remember South African actor Simon Sabela having a nice part in the film.

Just watched Escape To Athena, with Roger Moore and David Niven too. Telly Savalas also starrs.

It reminded me a lot of FYEO with it's greek setting. It even has a monastery infiltration complete with abseiling.

THE MAN FROM HONG KONG had financial success internationally and its theme song, Jigsaw's "Sky High," was a #1 hit in many countries (I still hear it on oldies stations in the U.S.). I'm certain it is Lazenby's highest-grossing non-Bond movie in which he plays a significant role. It also has something of a following that has continued to grow over the years as the film becomes more accessible on home media.

    For me the following:

Sean Connery: The Hunt For Red October, Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade, Entrapment

George Lazenby: The Return of The Man From U.N.C.L.E. (or was I dreaming)

Roger Moore: North Sea Hijack, Cannonball Run, Wild Geese, Sea Wolves, Gold.

Timothy Dalton: The Rocketeer, Hot Fuzz.

Pierce Brosnan: Mrs Doubtfire, The Thomas Crown Affair, Mamma Mia

Daniel Craig: Layer Cake, Lara Croft.

That's all I can think of personally.

I have seen most of the films mentioned in this thread now. The only one I'd downright refuse to watch is Mamma Mia

I've just re watched Dalton's "The Informant" and like Harry's Game penned by the same author, it's a great TV made movie about the "Troubles in Northern Ireland"

A low budget TV film but Dalton is superb as the Special Branch detective.

Soundtrack to the movie by the Pogues as well.

Just watched "The Doctor And The Devils", starring Timothy Dalton and Jonathan Pryce. Not a well known film but I thought it was excellent. Check it out!

Glad to hear that many of you enjoyed The Rocketeer, when it came out in 1991 it was a major box office bomb. Likely because not many people were familiar with the comic book that inspired it. I still enjoy it to this day and it was the movie that introduced me to Timothy Dalton. Also I recently watched Defiance where Daniel Craig gave a really amazing performance. I am planning on doing a marathon of his other films roles soon, I will defiantly share my thoughts here on the films that I enjoyed watching.

If we're discussing "best" rather than "biggest," my choices for Connery would be The Offence (his best performance), Robin and Marian, The Wind and the Lion, and Zardoz.

For Moore, I'd pick both of his films directed by Peter Hunt: Gold and Shout at the Devil.

I love the Rocketeer and wish Dalton could have displayed a smidge more of that charm in his Bond.
