Thanks, its somewhat of an accidental tribute to Connery, I really didn't know what size the strap was, but really wanted one! I had no luck finding one until today and snapped it up. Where did yo buy it from? I almost left the boutique but decided to have them put it on for me to discover that it didn't come with the clasp so they were kind enough to put one on

Yeah the 45mm PO is the same less rubber strap. I always recommend buy8ng that and getting the rubber later it’s the most cost effective way than doing it the other way around. The bracelets are expensive if you buy seperately.
The 45mm is a bit of a beast and too big for my wrists so did same in 42mm now I got QOS covered as well

Yeah the 45mm PO is the same less rubber strap. I always recommend buy8ng that and getting the rubber later it’s the most cost effective way than doing it the other way around. The bracelets are expensive if you buy seperately.

I just got off the phone from placing an order with Omega for the Seamaster Commander NATO but I was also looking at the same strap as well as the 2nd one in Jet007's post. Decided on the Commander as my Seamaster GMT 2535.80 has some red accents that it would be a good match.

With Omega I wouldn't be surprised if you'd have to buy the holes in the strap separately too.
I bought my nato from Omega when they first came out and got the whole lot together. I know that when you buy leather straps you have to buy the leather and clasp seperate nut never head of it on a nato until now.

You can‘t buy from Chrono24 usually, you buy from private and professional sellers who list on chrono24.
Your risk is as high as if you buy on ebay.

It depends on the shop. If you buy from a store it is worth checking to see if they are an AD of the brand you are planning to buy. If not, proceed with caution!

When I called Omega to inquire about the strap I had him double check if the buckle was included? He advised me that some of the basic NATO straps do include a buckle but unfortunately the Commander does not.
I personally would not take the risk to buy on Chrono24. That said, I am personally acquainted with people who have sold through the site and these individuals are beyond reproach. I think you just open yourself up to a wide array of experiences.

Oh yes, faces of watches can me changed. Seiko mods are a popular hobby (and business for some). The only real issue is finding a face of the correct size and shape and finding a watchmaker you trust to do the modification.
