    It arrived today (late) and I was surprised to find it lighter than I anticipated. With regards to the size, the large is fitted on my frame (43" chest), but still wearable, although I'd prefer an XL. I think I'll let it sit in the closet until the weather cools down and wear it a time or two to decide if I'll keep it or not.

    Thanks for answering one question I had regarding the weight of the jacket. Always tough to tell how heavy or light a jacket is on film. How does if compare to the JV Spectre, if you have that?

    My Banana Republic Die Hard 4 leather jacket is heavier than I had anticipated. Not quite "stand in a corner by itself" heavy, but it's laughable to think to wear it in New York or Washington DC in July, as John McClane did in Die Hard 4.

    Hi Steve - I've found mine to be light in weight too - the suede is of a pretty good quality, nice and soft and the medium fits well on me, not too loose but not skin tight. I'm suitably impressed - although I won't be wearing it this month - probably late September onward.

    David, was there a specific John Smedley roll neck that was the right one? They have a few indigo roll necks on their website...

    Special thanks to Jared Nomak for helping me to acquire these pieces from UNCLE...the RL suede jacket and the John Smedly indigo roll neck...

    A warning to anyone getting this roll neck, they run small...I ordered a medium and this thing is like its painted on...if I eat an olive I am screwed!

    I believe it's the 'Belvoir' model. As David mentioned, these do run small. I wear a Lrg. in the 'Bobby' but had to get an XL in this fit.

    Norcha, could you please provide the dimensions, chest back shoulders and outer arms. I probably need a large, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

    Thanks. {[]

    No problem,please note that it's elastic around waist,so difficult to measure.

    Resurrecting an old thread to say yippee!!! :)) :)) :))

    I finally got a size L UNCLE jacket at a great price.

    Thanks to GS for pointing the jacket out to me. -{

    Part of the reason for the great price was some snags on the wrist. The GBP hitting a near record low against the USD also helped.

    After some research I found someone local with great reviews to fix the sleeve. A San Francisco leather store that does great work quoted me $65 for the work. My price to fix was only $13 and here are the results:

    Great jacket!

    That was definitely one of the most stylish movies to come out in the last decade. There have been rumors for years about the possibility of a sequel. It's apparently being written...
