Hey David - I had a thought today... and thoughts on putting the audio of The Bond Experience out as a podcast? I find myself consuming media through that format more and more, through smart speakers at home and the infotainment screen in the car. It’s not a perfect fit with every video obviously, but I personally would love the option...
So interestingly that is how some people consume these...there is some way they do this on youtube when they listen, not sure of the methodology.
The thing about that is, though... if you’re using Amazon Alexa, Google Home, or Apple HomePod at home or Apple CarPlay or Android Auto in the car - you can’t get YouTube content on those...

Those happen to have become how I consume most of my content. At home I use a HomePod in the bathroom while I get ready for the day and in the kitchen while I eat breakfast. In the car I listen through CarPlay (can’t use my phone there at all - it’s illegal). Coming in Sept with iOS 12 I will be able to listen to Podcasts while I run through my Apple Watch (I don’t even bring my phone with me in that case). None of those devices can play YouTube or downloaded MP3 content.
I’m just saying if David did what Being James Bond and James Bond Radio do, and put episodes up as both podcasts and YouTube, it will open up whole new avenues for TBE...
While I think a TBE podcast would be great, I definitely wouldn’t miss an ep, IMO listening to just the audio of the past episodes would be a bit confusing as a lot of them are based on the visuals (eg exhibitions, clothing).

I apologise Arbogast, I didn’t see that part. I’ll have to have a dig through all the vids and find a few to save and give it a go with—it would be a fun thing to listen to on the way to work.

The last two Craig films have used UK based Globe-Trotter to outfit baddies and good guys alike...The good people at Globe-Trotter and The Bond Experience teamed up to ascertain the best piece for my lifestyle. This one has all the elements of the luggage we see in Spectre with the addition of wheels and re-sized to make it carry-on friendly. These changes fit my fast paced travel schedule much better than the 26” non-roller-ball one you see in the film. And since I intend to have this forever we wanted to get it right...we look at every detail of this gorgeous item AND field test it....

The latter you can see in the Everything or Nothing documentary. Globetrotter released limited editions of both pieces for the 50th anniversary as well as a load of other things. These seemingly went under the radar, and you could get them at mad low prices about five years ago. Both of Bonds pieces of luggage (non ltd) can still be bought. The Patrice Ltd edition with scope for a handle was very different as David said, in fact, it’s nothing at all like the piece Patrice uses.

For what it’s worth, I have been using the same carry on size that you bought, the 26 inch no wheels version and the 33 inch version for many years and here are my observations:
The handles on the bags with wheels are too short - I end up walking weirdly when pulling them.
The no-wheels suitcase is only useful for trips where you have porters everywhere, use a portable luggage trolley that you put inside the bag then take out when transporting the bag or for car trips.
Otherwise it’s way too heavy and baggage handlers at the airport broke the top leather strap last time I checked it in.
The bags get scratched up fairly quickly but it adds to the patina.
Every time I pack I do feel great and the luggage gets complimented by some.
The bags in themself are pretty light which is great.

Never had a problem with my handles being too short and I’m 6ft 2. Maybe that extra one inch makes all the difference.
Yeah, the corners are a bit banged up on all of mine now, especially the wheel end. I use this one the most and as you can see after five years, there’s still not much damage though. My attaches don’t show any sign of wear at all. GT make tough stuff.
