Hi guys ,I'm back from Cornwall now , lousy weather, storms , no wifi no mobile connections and no TV for a day due to bad weather , But being a true Boy nd fan , made our way from Doc Martin land to St Austel , to spend a day at the fabulous Eden project .We went to the tropical zone first ( it the 3 on the left) totally amazing ,everything from bananas ,coffee,cola, cocoa , you name it ,they had it . So plucked up courage to ask this pretty girl (staff member) about Die another day , she knew every thing even the fake rock they left behind , so please enjoy my Eden/DAD pictures ,and if you are ever in Cornwall , go there
Hi folks, I'm back after touring France (with one stop in Germany) for the last several days. Had a great time especially posing with the Bride under a mango tree in Leipzig.
We were overtaken around Birmingham by a blue car with the great registration number "X007 SPY"- I don't suppose that was anyone here?
Yes I know this is very early and I apologise for that, but I will be working more over the next weeks and will probably not have time to visit AJB because of this, so while I have the opportunity I would like to wish every one a very merry Christmas and a peaceful and prosperous new year.
Hello my friends. I have been away from AJB for some time because of my work commitments but I now hope to visit more often. I send you all my best wishes.
Hello my friends. Can I reply here to those people who sent messages. I have not left AJB and I thank you for your concern.
I am busy at work like many of us are, I am also busy volunteering with my church. I go to keep gardens tidy at old peoples homes who can no longer do this themselves. This is a free service (but I gratefully accept many cups of tea and biscuits!) just to help the needy and hopefully help to say thank you to this country for helping me when I was in need of help.
I smile to myself when the people see me cutting grass and weeding etc in my bare feet. Their reaction always makes me smile and they ask if I can not afford shoes! Some people have even offered to buy shoes until I explain I always never wear them when ever possible.
Thank you again my friends and I will continue to visit AJB when ever I have free time.
You are a lesson for silly nerds like me who spend hours in internet while you are doing this world better. I guess that's why you are so missed around here -{
Please forgive the belated intro, as I’ve already been posting bits and pieces here and there over the last week or so. Was a member of this esteemed forum many moons ago. Rejoined recently to draw attention to a current project that might possibly amuse members who have an interest in the kind of vintage British thrillers that inspired Ian Fleming:
Politeness dictated that I justify my membership by re-establishing my credentials as an 007 aficionado of long standing (from my first viewing of YOLT in the cinema, way back in the distant mists of infancy). In the process of doing do, I found myself drawn back into the discussions. Apologies for any confusion caused.
Hello Bondfans! I thought I’d join up and get involved in a bit of Bond-related chat! I’ve been a lifelong fan of James Bond since a little kid in the 70s getting all excited at Xmas and Easter for a Bond film to appear on ITV. :007)
I’m not an expert in any way, more of a keen amateur, so I’m hoping the residents won’t mind if most of my contributions are asking inane questions that any serious Bond fan should already know the answer to.
I’ve been on quite a few forums in my time, and I’m hoping this is a friendly, welcoming forum who is willing to put up with dumb newbie comments, rather than using me for a spot of target practice in Lazar’s Workshop! (I’m a Roger Moore fan, but I don’t tell my friends!)
I have a soft spot for Moonraker, but I hope that’s not against the forum rules! Bye for now!
