    Go to any store here in the UK and in my experience the nice looking sales girls seem to prefer Oud Wood ;%

    Haven't tried that yet!

    Common Scents sells a very close copy of it for a few bucks. For the price difference you can't go wrong.

    what is that one called?

    I must say I have been wearing Tobacco Vanille for almost four years now and it has become my signature whenever I walk in a room. I'm on my second 250ml decanter. I tend to wear this when going out and not as an everyday scent, but i get asked a lot by women about what scent I'm wearing. I highly recommend spending the extra amount and getting 250ml it lasts forever. Typically people like Tobacco Vanille, Oud Wood and Tuscan Leather. Oud wood I believe is the scent they use in the Tom Ford store and Tuscan Leather has been compared to the smell of Cocaine... I can vouch this is accurate lol.

    I have a 50 mL bottle of Amber Absolute (now discontinued) that I wear with my Skyfall Prince of Wales check suit. I layer it with Tobacco Vanille sometimes and like VegasBond, I almost always get asked what I'm wearing. The combination (something that TF recommends) has a very 'Bond' like character to it. Boozy, strong, spicy, and elegant.
    Tom Ford for Men has become something I wear almost everyday. It's an EDT, so it wears lighter than TF's private blend stuff. I typically apply it multiple times a day and have never been accused of it being overpowering. It works night/day and winter/summer. If you haven't already, give it a try.

    Intrigued by Tobacco Vanille. Before I splash the cash on flea bay are there any fragrance selling websites that ship worldwide?
    I wouldn't buy any from fleabay, just no guarantee it will be genuine. Tabacco vanille is one of my favoured scents, alonh with a few other TF ones. They are expensive but last for ages.
    It was either that.....or the priesthood

    I've used Tobacco Vanille for almost 4 years. It was my introduction to Tom Ford and then later the world of suits and JB. Personally love it and I have tried many bottle samples (maybe 30) from Tom, Creed, and Killian, but nothing has compared in my opinion. I do like the Napoli Scent. Each bottle lasts me well over a year, so the price to me is worth it. I'll use one spray a day, unless I have an evening event. -{

    Tobacco Vanille will now be my third scent from TF that I own. I tried some the other day and the wife loved it.

    I use Neroli Portofino in the summer and Noir de Noir in the evenings and winter months. All three are spectacular and last all day with just one spritz. I highly recommend splurging and getting the Private Blend Eau de Parfum versions as they last the longest and smell the best.

    I have a whole load of TF scents and TV is my fave. But try Noir Extreme edp for men, its a close ish scent to TV but standard range (and price!)...
    Ombre Leather is back out too as a standard range and similar to the privatev blend Tuscan Leather

    I've tried Noir, Tobacco Vanille, and Oud Wood, and have liked bits of each, but the sweet/sugary smell of Noir and TV aren't my favorite. Today I got Tobacco Oud, and it might be the right balance for me.

    I don’t think you’ll regret it at all.
