    I don’t drink tea or coffee :o

I’m fuelled by a cocktail of cellulose thinners, white spirit and isopropyl alcohol, with a dash of Smirnoff.

Couldn’t ever get into tea, always just tasted like hot bath water to me.

Generally favour Twinings breakfast in the morning, and Earl Grey after lunch (no milk, no sugar in either). If/when I have the time to enjoy, I'll have a Pakistani black tea (with cinnamon and cardamom) and/or a Moroccan green tea with a generous amount of fresh peppermint in the glass. For the latest one only I may add some sugar. All hell hot.

Btw, coffee black, no sugar, made in stove coffee maker when possible (Bialetti is a great brand for these), also appreciate Turkish made (directly in a Cezve - Turkish metal glass). Plus figs and yoghourt, please.

Perhaps like Number24, I only really drink diet coke or
Orange cordial . So the tea we use is, whatever's on offer at the
    Supermarket.

I don't think herbal teas are for me, Higgins, but I'm equally glad that it works for you. :)

Don't drink Hot Tea. I do like Unsweetened Pure Leaf tea from Lipton. If its not available, just give me some unsweetened Iced Tea. More of a coffee guy. Extra Dark roast, served hot and black.

Not really a tea drinker but when I do I like an Assam.

Much more of a coffee drinker due having an 18 month old who doesn’t like to sleep much at night :#

Very interesting, Silhouette Man, amazing what you don't know. I remember the chimp family as a kid. At the time some of the funniest ads on TV. Ditto Johnny Vegas and Munky.

Glad you liked it, @chrisno1. I drink PG Tips and it's my tea of choice. I think it has the nicest flavour of the commercial teas available at the local shop or supermarket. I've noticed it is sometimes rather hard to find of late and has become rather pricey - the smallest boxes available are usually the 240 bag ones when you can find it at all. Of course, I'm not a tea connoisseur by any stretch of the imagination but of the regular teas I've tasted thus far it's definitely the nicest. The monkey adverts are an added bonus and I have fond memories of the Johnny Vegas and Munky PG Tips ads in particular. I'm a little too young to properly remember the 1980s live monkey adverts but they were hilarious too. Perhaps they're not very PC in today's world of obsessive virtue signalling and wokeness but those were different times. There were even a few Bond inspired ones:

    Great punchlines!!!

Personally, PG us my standby tea. I live in a hard water area, and for some reasonYorkshire Tea brews better hear. One of the strangest things I heard about Yorkshire Tea was that some foolish people in the run up to Brexit switched to drinking it because they believed it was made from British Tea leaves.

I know some parts of the south of England are said to have scorpions now (thanks to global warming) but I think British tea growing is probably a long way off yet!
