FYI I believe this is the same Rick Owens jacket worn by Daniel Craig, note you have to go up one size so this would fit a 38/48.

Not strictly a Bond item but as I bought this following an Iconic Alternatives post I trust it's ok here.

J Crew Abingdon messenger bag bought as an alternative to DC's Belstaff bag. I bought one, it got lost in the post so I bought another and then the first one turned up (as it was only delayed no compensation etc was claimed). I'd like to get back the money I spent on the second bag!

    It's here: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/J-Crew-Abingdon-Messenger-Bag-Waxed-Canvas-BNWT/133104793283?hash=item1efda9f6c3:g:cg8AAOSwef9dH39v

    Item number: 133104793283.

Would be very happy to accept offers from members on here rather than ebay, please pm me.

    WTF.

Apparently you're allowed to sh*t on people's ads in these forums? If you actually read the listing, the description has read 'similar to' from the very beginning explicitly for the benefit of people like you.

Is it really ‘sh*ting on’ if it’s true? Good luck on your sale.

To be fair, it shouldn't have the tags "Bond" or "Casino Royale" written in the auction when the shirt for sale simply IS NOT the (same) shirt Bond really wore...

Respectfully to you, how else would I find Casino Royale and Bond replica/substitute wear by searching?

"Similar to what was seen" was great, but "replica" would be great in the title. Would that help?

I think searching for „Alfani shirt black“ would do the job just fine.
For example, my Tommy Bahama Shirts didn’t say anything on Bond and I still found the even SA one. So there is really no need for those tags.

Troll bait taken. Here we go.

My point is, it's not your job to be the eBay listing police. Again, the listing doesn’t claim that the shirt is SA, so your meddling is just that, true or not. Stay in your lane, let the mods do their job if necessary, and allow shoppers to make up their own minds. If a buyer doesn't like the fact that the shirt isn't SA, it's their decision not to buy it.

This is the only forum I've experienced members being allowed to add ANY critique - good, bad or otherwise, to a classified. First, it often bumps the original post. Second, it clutters sale threads with completely unnecessary playground BS like this. And third, a seller should have the reasonable expectation to not tolerate frivolous input that could skew someone’s perception of a sale.

Concerning the listing's title, I add as many search terms as I feel may maximize exposure, which is somewhat subjective and at my discretion as long as it generally aligns with the description. The listing isn't designed for internet fan forum thread-counters. Someone may be searching for a similar Alfani shirt completely unaware of why I had the hem straightened. They may be searching for another CR-related item and take interest in the shirt as an afterthought. They may find it interesting enough to purchase it or recommend it to a friend. The selling scenarios are numerous. It's called strategic marketing and it works.

I don't know what an Alfani shirt is but I could have found this listing via Casino Royale "replica shirt". And I'd rather find CR Alfanis than look at every Alfani black shirt to find the CR replica, if you follow.

A replica is an exact copy/duplicate of an original, so is that the case with this item? If not, it's misleading.

I just posted this on Ebay - https://www.ebay.com/itm/113820863319?ul_noapp=true

If you've ever wanted an Omega Seamaster 2531.80, here's your chance, buy it here and I'll throw in another free "Bond" gift. :) Make me an offer. Partial Bond trades accepted, looking for anything Brosnan or Craig related, clothing size is the US Large.
If you're in the USA, I would love another PPK/s.

I asked him for measurements and he said the shoulders are 18 inches, the chest is 23 seam to seam. I'm confirming waist measurements but I think he said it it was 20.5 inches.

Update on the waist measurements....almost 19 inches.

Hi Mike, thanks for posting, yeah this is my listing on eBay. Slim fit compared to QOS version which I also have. Like Mike said, G-9 style as compared to QOS G-4.

I was going through eBay and i noticed a new pair of Barton Perreira Joe's have been listed with an oh so affordable starting price of $2000 with a BIN of $2600 8-) (after fees, s/h and the initial investment hes making nearly 4 times what he paid) I have no problem with people making some profit but these sunglasses are not 4 times the price nice! Apparently the seller thinks Bond fans have more money than brains :))
