Mack weldon vesper polo sizing

Hey all, didn't have great luck with a sunspel Riviera and want to try a vesper polo, especially with the free shipping and returns.

Anyone have one? How is the sizing? I know it runs a bit different than a Riviera, and I'm usually a size small. I'm 5'5, and slim.

Hi, I own this polo and it's nice, definitely on par with the Sunspel. I'm 5'6 and slim as well, and the small fits fine. They used to have a XS size but no longer, and I feel that would be more form-fitting like you see on Bond. It's not that the S is baggy, but it's not form-fitting. I'd say the cut is extremely similar to the Sunspel, I owned the Riviera polo back when CR and QOS came out and I would NOT pay their prices when the Vesper is available for much less.

Regarding care, wash in cold with like colors and line dry. Also, I've noticed the collar is getting worn down at the fold, most likely to my stubble, but I've had this shirt for over two years so it's probably due to be replaced. (Riviera did the same.)

Give it a try and send it back if you don't like it. Also, there are coupon codes for 20% off easily available online, do a search and you should be able to find one.

Wow, this looks like an almost exact replica. Made in Peru is not bad either.. good cotton there. I love the Sunspel, and own a couple diff colors, but this does seem worth checking out!

How does the color hold up after several washes compared to Sunspel?

The color doesn't fade the way Sunspels tend to do, probably because Mack Weldon uses a blend. The fit is slightly different. My polos from Mack Weldon seem a little longer in the body. My Sunspels tend to ride up above my waistband when I lift my arms above my head.
