FYEO a.t.a.c

Hello everyone !

My project is to make a replica of the FYEO ATAC system. Does anyone have information about this prop? does the base come from an existing object?

All information is welcome!
thank you in advance

Luca

    From what I've read over the years, the casing was custom-made for the film. The digits light up too, when you turn the second key.
    Good luck with the project! -{

    It looks like a cash register to me, but what brand is beyond me.

    hi Luca

    it is currently on show in the London Film Museum, i too have researched a bit and thought it was some sort of Philips base unit, i even remember it from somewhere... the casing does look close up to be hard, as if aluminium or something. PM me as i have some close images

    My friend lent me a PERFECT SA model of this, then I dropped it, and it shattered . . . now I don't have it . . . AND he doesn't have it either.

    I open an old thread, to share some pictures, here is my old ATAC, the first I made.

    And here is the second one, more screen acurate, with the correct bottons. And the most is the Signature by Julian Glover !

    Now that's how you make a prop. Congrats on getting it signed!

    The story goes that Luca visited Meteora with a retrieval team and rebuilt the ATAC, which was subsequently stolen and is now in the hands of the Russians. Good going, Luca.
