Madagascar Possible Alternative

Do you think this is a good alternative of the Madagascar shirt??
It's not a 1-1 copy but i think it fits the overall style which is mainly what i'm going for..... but does it??

I hope it's slightly yellowish as it looks in that photo and not white.. if anyone has it, it would mean a lot if you could provide with some photos and also if anyone knows of another good alternative it would be a lot appreciated to drop some links below

Thanks -{ B-)

Thanks for sharing the links, Cajun!

ellipsis97: that's a really difficult shirt to find a good match for. Each season I find maybe 3 or 4 that come semi-close in pattern, but nothing with the other details (button tab at the cuff, etc.). And usually the ones I find don't last more than a season before they sell out or get discontinued.

IMO, that Pendleton you linked to is about as close as almost any I've found in terms of pattern and overall "feel". And given that the color is called "tan palm" I would assume the base color will have a yellow/khaki tone to it (rather than being pure white). I do know from experience that Pendleton shirts fit large. So double check the size chart and you may even want to size down.

The other option is to order a repro from Magnoli. But if you don't want to do that, then aiming for "close enough" is about the best we can do. :)

    Cheers!

Thanks a ton for the detailed input! That's what i was thinking also but the price tag on magnoli is a bit high for a shirt and especially not a formal one..i do realise however that it's a collector's item and that justifies the price a bit...

I think i'll go with the Pendleton, especially after those details you gave me

    Thanks a lot!! -{ :)

Sadly not all sizes haha, I'd jump on that and dye it to fix the color if it wasn't for the shrinkage meaning I should go for an XL and not an L
