Not really one for cord so I might pass on this, but I do want to send a number of pats on the back cederic0011's way for getting the ball rolling and coordinating this project (not an easy job from what I've heard from the past ones) plus managing to get more than enough interested parties down for it in less than 24 hours! A great job! {[]

If the corduroy is similar to the fabric used in the suit, it won't much resemble wide and medium wale corduroy as most of us are used to seeing it (for instance with the Skyfall Iggy's). The suit fabric feels like ultra soft cotton and is as light as linen. But these trousers could be quite different. Just an FYI for those on the fence.

Just got the suit trousers today (incidentally they are labelled SCOOP / WINCH).

Does this mean same fit as the STEPS WINCH pants - just diff pockets?

As above they are ultra soft and light

Are they pretty slim or more of a regular straight fit?

MA, having got over their initial shock at the importance we attach to Screen Accuracy and therefore agreeing to do special runs of previous SS19 product, are now very keen to move our orders along quickly and would like all the information from us by the end of this WEEKEND (6th October) latest!

They can then start proceeding with the order and are aiming for delivery in December.

I attach below the size chart MA have provided with waist measurement lying flat (cm) and inside leg (in inches!). This table is identical to that already shared by SevenD for the "steps" trousers in the " No Time To Die Wardrobe" posts.

    pantalone pants WINCH2 T0301 U809
    pant. (pants) tg.46 tg.48 tg.50 tg.52 tg.54 tg.56
    vita (waist) cm 41,5 43,5 45,5 47,5 49,5 52,5
    lung. int gamba (intra-leg lenght) 34" 34" 34" 34" 34" 34"

As this table mixes inches and cm's, I have set a table out below in both inches an cm's (the inch " waist measurements are just a conversion from MA's provided cm's measurements)
    Image-02-10-2019-at-16-37.jpg

Can you please PM me with the following as soon as possible, so that I can collate a list for MA:

    1. AJB name
    2. Full Name
    3. Email address
    4. Phone Number (with international dialling code)
    5. Full Postal Address (inc country)
    6. Number of pairs to be ordered
    7. Size to be ordered

If anyone who signed up to the original list has received direct communication from MA, and wants to order direct yourself, can you still please PM me to let me know you are no longer part of this list, or similarly if you have changed your mind - there is no pressure as we are not number dependent, given level of interest.

If you have queries on sizing that you want to take up direct with MA, please leave size blank on your PM response. However...those of us who have been talking to MA have found that communication is not always straightforward and its taken a lot of manoeuvring to get them this far, so I anticipate sizing discussions may not be easy to resolve and you may have to decide to take a risk or pass.

Welshboy78 has provided some comments on the WINCH suit trousers earlier in this post (which seem very similar, (sharing Article No TO301) but have buttons on the back pocket. I also have some WINCH2 style trousers (not the same trouser material though) being delivered tomorrow, so that I can hopefully provide some limited insight too.

Thanks for getting back to me as soon as possible and before the end of the weekend!

Payment will be by either Paypal or cash/wire transfer to MA bank account, from what has been stated so far.

You can still join the list, but please immediately PM me with your details above.

I'll forward my info tomorrow but I have some questions regarding sizing. Most of my pants are more casual in nature and I tend to wear a size 36 in Gap jeans, khakis and shorts and I'm torn between a a 52 or a 54. Would I be better off just using measurements of a pair of pants that fit me to determine my size? Any insight would be appreciated!

Best way as you suggest is to measure a variety of trousers you are comfortable in and it will give you a sense of right size. Still difficult to know for certain as cut can vary.

That's my major concern as I'm really a 35 but I have a little more butt than the average guy.....thanks a lot Mom :)) I'll go and measure a few pairs of pants and see where I end up.

    In post #1 Cederic0011 mentioned "around €240" plus s/h.

    Sizing:
I am receiving various queries on sizing. I do need a European size from you from my chart above (not a US,UK size). The only advice I can provide is set out below, then you have to make a decision from this information on the European size you want to order.

The best way to arrive at your sizing is to measure a selection of your existing trousers, ideally chino style, across the waist lying flat, and then compare that to the actual waist measurements provided by MA in the chart. From there you can read off your most appropriate size (46, 48, 50... etc). This then is the size I need from you (ie a 46,48,50,52,54,56), not a US or UK size.

I’m afraid I have no more information than this, to help advise you, (and MA will not provide anymore help than this either). There is always some element of risk/ margin of error in both production (cutting and sewing both prone to some human margin of error) and also fit of a particular style.

Also to help with some qualitative assessment I ordered some WINCH2 Style trousers from Mr Porter website which I received today, the same style as for this order, but in a very different cloth fabric which can alter fit.

My actual measured waist is 33 inches (currently!). The measurements lying flat of Mr Porter order were in line with chart provided above.

Based on the trousers received, both 48 and 50 fit me - just a question of closeness of fit. I would need a belt with 50, none necessary for 48. I take 50 in TF suit trouser, a 48 in BC trousers and would normally wear a 32,33,34 in UK size depending on a particular manufacturers cut.

On the legs I would say fit is very similar to the Brunello SPECTRE trousers, if that helps anyone! Hard to compare with NTTD Tom Ford jeans as very different style, I was ideally a 32 straight, as the slim did not work for me at all, due to my calf size. No issue with WINCH2 with the calves though, on either 48 or 50 - though closer fitting than straight TF jeans.

Inside leg is a standard length on all sizes and most people will need to have bottoms tailored, unless you take a 34 inch inside leg or roll them!

I personally will order the 48, as prefer close fit AND I’m losing weight currently! The 50 would work equally as well, perhaps actually a bit more comfortable, and certainly for those with larger backsides, would likely work better!

Thanks. Hope this helps. I cannot offer any more advice to you than this, as our body shapes all differ, so ultimately you have to decide a size (European size please!) and there is always some risk to that!

Thank you for arranging this, cederic0011.

I've been going over the sizing of my slim fit trousers, but without more sizing information related to the rise and hips of the MA cords I will have to reluctantly drop out.
