Probably quite a few new members in that mass as well.

Yeah. I'm excited to have some more traffic round here. Let's hope the conversations remain civil and positive.

The bike jump already has me worried. I think just about every Bond movie for me with a bike isn't a good one. Never Say Never Again is probably the only one I like but that's because it's a remake of Thunderball. Probably my favorite Bond movie. And Never Say Never Again has Kim Basinger and Barbara Carrera. I've posted about Never Say Never Again before in someone's topic around here.

I was curious if that bike stunt was real and spoiled a bit of that Aston Martin scene. We'll see if they have that in the trailer tomorrow. If anything, it seems like we might be in for one of the biggest or longest Bond action sequences ever. But I've never watched fan footage of filming before.

What exactly about the bike jump or just the presence of a bike in the movie has you worried? Is it just the fact that you think all previous Bond flicks with bike in it turned out bad? What about SF? That was highly acclaimed and also featured a motorbike chase in the PTS.

Thunderball, Diamonds Are Forever, Live And Let Die, The Spy Who Loved Me, For Your Eyes Only, Goldeneye, Tomorrow Never Dies, Skyfall...they can‘t all be bad? :o
The name is Walker by the way.

Anytime Bond rides a motorcycle in movies it becomes a bit generic action movie more than a Bond movie for me. Perhaps it's just unlucky that Bond happens to ride bikes in those movies that I don't like that much.

The movies that immediately come to mind are Diamonds Are Forever with that three wheel buggie / bike thing. I just like the music in Diamonds Are Forever. I don't watch it that much anymore. Tomorrow Never Dies with the wheelies on the heavy BMW. I zoned out during that scene in the theater. That movie is like straight action once Bond drives the car off that garage roof. I don't like Quantum of Solace or Skyfall that much. Both have bike scenes. I've reviewed both here. And of course Goldeneye with the nonsense bike off the cliff scene.

I love motorcycles. But I guess for me, bikes and Bond just don't fit in movies with the exception of Never Say Never Again. I would rather see Bond jump in a silly car like in For Your Eyes Only or A View to a Kill before becoming a stunt bike rider through whatever city he's in.

That is a very poor trailer.

After a second viewing it looks like my link directs to a very well made fan made trailer-like upload. My apologies.

Yes, it's 6.36 in New York now. Is the TV program made in NY or LA?

Was just wondering that myself—the three hour difference between the two could mean we get news (from the interviews) and a trailer drop within the next hour or two, or within the next four or five hours... Ugh, it's nearing midnight here in Aus but hey, sleep can wait.

I just assumed that with DC and a few others on GMA today, they'll show the trailer during the interview and then release it online right after that. So I'd say US time is what we go by.

    Wikipedia:
The weekday program airs from 7:00 to 9:00 a.m. in all U.S. time zones (live in the Eastern Time Zone and on tape delay elsewhere across the country).

So it's NY and the progam starts in eight minutes. The Bond part happens sometime in the following two hours.

Ah excellent. Thanks for getting that info N24 -{ Not long now then!

I think one thing we know for certain is that when the trailer does drop, it's going to get very busy as well as confusing around these parts. People will be jumping on to the forum and posting the video link and discussing it in this thread, the spoiler thread and probably the No Time To Die wardrobe and NTTD teaser threads as well.

A few quick thoughts about the trailer:

That was a nice meaty trailer, not just a quick tease which kind of makes it feel like the nearly complete blackout on visuals in the past few months has been worth enduring so that now we can get our teeth into something really substantial...not that I plan on analysing stuff frame by frame and figuring out what it all means.

I like how things are shaping up with the Bond-Swann relationship, looking intriguing and not like she just gets killed off and Bond wants to avenge her.

The way the bar scene with Bond and Felix is shot looks like a nice throwback to the similar scene in Quantum of Solace.

The scene with Bond and Safin with Bond's line about "men who play god" reminds me of the exchange in Dr No where Bond says "Our asylums are full of people who think they're Napoleon...or God".

The cavernous set full of people dressed in red overalls looks very like late 60s/70s Bond...YOLT and TSWLM especially.

Lots of car chase footage here, and as over-the-top as the gatling guns are, I quite like how they are used.

The mask stuff and the facial scarring certainly intrigue me. I'm looking forward to seeing how it all fits together in April.

There's something about Bond's movement in the last shot of that trailer that reminds me of Dalton's gunbarrel.

I look forward to reading everyone else's first reactions.

Teaser looks good.....appears that all is not well in Madeleine land; seems like Blofeld is being used sort of like Hannibal Lecter ala Silence of the Lambs; the DB5 looks like it has a few "upgrades"; IMO, in general the teaser just gives off a more "classic" Bond vibe but with Craig's intensity permeating things.

As expected it seems like NTTD, much like the rest of the Craig saga, is not really a stand alone film. It looks like it brings quite a lot over from the previous few films, particularly Spectre.

Hi Bond fans, Eon here. Did you enjoy SPECTRE? Good, cos here it is again.

That’s been obvious from the outset. Did anyone expect a stand-alone film?

Very good... I know a trailer can make a terrible film look good, but I think DC is going out on a high after seeing this. I feel this is going to be a very well balanced film, bringing all the classic 'Bond' elements into play, with a bit more of the grit that CR arrived with. DC certainly looks like he means business in this; no coasting his way out that's for sure. Ok, the personal stuff, that some dislike, is still carried through, but it had to be so... a line drawn. I'm not going to wish my life away for a film, but, I can't wait till April :007)

A big villain lair with lots of henchmen, I like this. I like how this is looking.

Also, what a good trailer. Gives out enough new information worthy of discussing and making speculations without spoiling the film's plot, and keeping enough mystery to what it has shown. Very nice.
