How about a finders fee? “Not charged” indeed! :))

My parcel got held up in US Customs for bizarre reasons. But after four days of waiting, I finally received it.

Wow! That OHMSS cashmere bomber is going to be one of my goto pieces this winter. Orange doesn't flatter me, so I will be wearing it with the blue mock neck from Spectre. I recommend the color combo to those of you who don't want to commit to the full Lazenby.

Also, I think it's going to work really well as a layering piece under the Mason and Sons Barleycorn Tweed Goldfinger jacket.

One question for others who purchased the Skyfall scarf. The description accurately tells you how small it is. But I guarantee it will be smaller than you expected.

How are you guys tying it?

    How are people finding sizing?

I'm a 38 and a size small fits me very well, neither loose nor too tight. I'm 5'9" and the length is pretty good, though maybe I'd want the jumpers slightly shorter. They're a little shorter than most I find these days.

I am 40 chest with a 31 waist and medium almost across the board fits me very well...maybe a tad loose but not huge.

I’m 5’7” with a 38 inch chest and a 30 inch waist. The small has a good fit overall but is way too long, so I can’t only wear extra small in N Peal.

I came out of the gym the other week and saw a guy I recognized, he saw me looking and did the famous person half smile, bugged me for ages who it was, turns out it’s the model in the N Peal 007 collection...so must be a sign I need to buy most of the collection :))

The goldeneye sweater is a must for me

    I've just received my N.Peal package :-)
I'm very happy with the pieces I have to admit. There is just one think I noticed: I ordered the new Skyfall Blue Weave Sweater as my original one shrunk in a washing accident :-(
I noticed that the new version is completely different in cut and sizing. The original one was huge, a small would have probably fit me better. For the new one the medium is perfect. And the end of the sleeves is shorter and not supposed to be rolled up anymore. I mean it is a rather loose sweater and the new version fits me quite well and I'm glad I went with an M again. I was just wondering why they changed the design. Fabric seems to be the same to me.
The DAD roll neck is looser than the Specter fumo grey one I would say, maybe the DAD M is between M and L of the Spectre one.

I queried the change in design and asked whether the roll back cuff version was still available. Apparently they're all out of stock.

For a first time buyer with N.Peal I've been thoroughly underwhelmed.

They inadvertently sent me the additional sweater which I've returned. No acknowledgement of receiving it. A thank you would have been nice.

I ordered via a cashback site and the volume I received was less than half of the rate offered.

Then there's the design change, which just seems like a way of saving material and time at their end.

I know a lot of you have good experiences with them though. Maybe I'm just expecting too much.

To the surprise of probably no one I beelined for the Skyfall scarf and I absolutely love it. As others have noted its much smaller then your average scarf. Honestly I'll most likely wear this a lot more then my other regular sized Bond scarfs because of its more convenient size.

Same here. It even looks closer to the butchered SA Tom Ford scarf if you tie it right.

Ended up getting a notification from Mason & Sons for their new site launch and a 15% off code. I noticed that the prices on many of their items were significantly below the cost on the brand sites.

    Bought:
John Smedley Sea Island Cotton Long Sleeve Polo
John Smedley Fine Merino Wool Turtleneck
    John Smedley Skyfall Sweater
    2 pairs of socks
    Sunspel Spectre Underwear

For a total of about $490 shipped.

Just some food for thought in case anyone wanted to comparison shop. Many "Bond Styles" and pretty much spot on alternatives to Npeal coming from actual Bond brands.

Has anyone gotten TLD fine gauge scarf? I like that it's a thin full size one vs the cut down Skyfall inspired.. thinking of ordering one.

I have this scarf. It's very thin but tremendous in size (more like a shawl than a scarf), so you can fold it up to get more thickness or wear it in any other way you can imagine.

This was the item I was tempted to get, seems a really good affordable item from the range. I may have to drop in and pick it up this weekend!

Just received my OHMSS leather and cashmere gloves. It's a great item and fits fine in an 8.5 around the hand but the fingers are a little too long, it doesn't look out of place but just knowing it bugs me. N Peal do a fine line but what fits in one place doesn't seem to in the other, the length of the jumpers has been a fine example. I'll forget about the length of the fingers when here on my hands no doubt.

That's the problem with any gloves and knitwear. Jumpers are always too long, and glove fingers are always too long. N.Peal shortens jumpers (I don't know how), and there are people who work with leather who can shorten gloves, but that's probably not cost-effective.

I had this issue with the Skyfall sweater that I wanted in a different color. The medium was too big in the body while the arms of the small were too short, but from their Burlington Arcade shop they were able to have a small made to order with longer arms. I don't think I paid much, if anything, over the standard cost. Not sure if they can do with the 007 line but worth asking - they are very helpful.

Thanks both for your input and feedback. I want to get the Spectre turtle neck in black and lapis blue but have messaged them querying the size and what can be done if adjustements are necessary before buying. The glove finger length doesn't cross my mind now, it's only a little bit longer than my fingers and is apparently normal, I guess it was just the first observation I made since I was checking that they fit.

Does anyone know if N. Peal are likely to have a post Christmas sale? Not necessarily including the Bond line just their general collection.
Yes but my martini's still dry.

They usually do but it never includes any of the Bond related pieces.

This is the first time I've noticed N Peal released a henley "inspired by the piece worn by Bond in NO TIME TO DIE." Is there another henley besides the R&B?

I'm sure it's an awesome henley, but wouldn't you have thought they would go with an oatmeal color at least. Ivory would be too close to the R&B version, but light grey doesn't remind me at all of the shirt we've seen in the snips from NTTD.

Would be happy to hear about sizing for the new grey NTTD henley when someone receives it. Sizing is always a bit difficult with N Peal, I think.
