The Northern islands of Japan has pine woods and can get snow. This means it's possible, but in my opinion unlikely, the scenes in the cabin and on the frozen lake are set in Japan.

If we are all wondering if he's Dr. No AND it's the only James Bond film to have "No" in its title (apart from Dr. No), it's because he IS Dr. No. Come on guys...Dr. No belongs to SPECTRE...Ernst Stavro Blofeld is back. Just connect the dots.

    Absolutely.

I'm 99% certain it'll be Dr No. I also see nothing wrong with it being Dr No because it's clearly not a remake of Dr No, any more than Spectre was a remake of any of the Blofeld films previously made. And it's not as if we haven't had many villians in the Dr No mould anyway.

Mark my words they've done it. Far too many dots, as Virgil said, that point directly to the obvious.

So when they announced that Safin is the villains name, that was done as a deterrent. Or do you think they renamed him to Safin instead of using Julius. Just curious what people think.

They called Moneypenny ‘Eve’,, to throw us off the scent. And of course they did the same with Blofeld, announcing him as a character in the original Fleming Bond books that wasn’t Blofeld. That was a massive deception.

Seems to be a pattern, doesn't it? NTTD has two characters who people suspect are more than what they're telling us. 00-agent Nomi and Safin. Could they be attempting to deceive us with both these characters? Have they gone to far?

It's become a trademark of the Craig era...Bringing back the past. Moneypenny, M, M's old office, Blofeld, SPECTRE...By now, it should be obvious. And it's great they do bring back the past. Why write new characters? They have Ian Fleming's to use...All of them, really. They can do whatever they want with the novels...Mix them, remake them...Mix them AND remake them at the same time, creating new characters and new stories...
