I got confirmed that DC wears a 50 in the movie and it being the size I suspected for me anyway, that’s what I went for.
The name is Walker by the way.

Sorry to stir the conversation again to the BP sunglasses, but I got a call today from BP NYC regarding my pre-order saying that now all BP Joe pairs will have the 007 engraving on the tip of the temples. The only difference would be the case and packaging!

The lady said that due to licensing all Joe models will have engraving now and no regular version will be made/sold anymore! This is very frustrating as I was really eyeing the unbranded version because the outside engraving felt too much for me, still though I didn't cancel my order but curious to know if anyone got the same info on this?

won't cancel my order either but srsly whats wrong with them? there is obvisously a great demand for the standard-versions and they gave us the option to buy them. think I will cover it with a small black tape or something but what should I do with the Chestnut-Nortons...maybe wearing them together with the 007 Adidas Boost shoes :(
I consider to order the LE again, whats the point of having a set were one item is branded and the rest not? all in or nothing

A couple of sales going on, Stag Provisions has 25% all outer wear including the Rogue Supply jacket, I think that one is today only.

    J. Crew also has a significant sale on these moccassin chukkas that are a decent substitute for the Drakes.

Just request a free BP non-branded case and cloth in addition to your order.

    That’s what I did.

I realize it won’t help with arm branding , but it does when I don’t want people to see 007 all over my sunglasses case.

Oh and yes, this truly sucks !

In case others have not see this i have received the latest update on the Connolly Giubbino Matera Jacket re-release - price hike...ouch!!

    Dear Mr Lee,

I hope my email finds you well.

Thank you for your interest in the Connolly Giubbino Jacket.

I would like to inform you that we are now offering a pre-order purchase for your reserved jacket. This offer has been made due to overwhelming amount of reservations placed, which has now reached beyond the amount that are being produced.

A pre-order purchase will guarantee the jacket will prioritise over non-purchase reservations.

The pre-order purchase offer is for the full amount of £460.00 and payment can be made through PayPal alternatively we can issue an invoice if you prefer.

If you would like to go ahead with a “pre-order purchase” please reply to this email and add in subject heading the type of payment you prefer stating PAYPAL or INVOICE.

If you prefer not to Pre-order purchase, we will still keep your requested size on our reservation list. However, due to the exceeded number of reservations we cannot guarantee that we will have a jacket available for you.

We anticipate receiving the jacket in our store towards late March, early April 2020.
The fabric, colour and fit will be the same as the one provided to Daniel Craig for the James Bond film “No Time to Die”.

The size scale is from S to XXL and it is true to size. If however you are very broad in the shoulder or longer in the torso we suggest to go up one size. Please note that an exchange of size will also be applicable.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any further questions.

    Kind regards,

Thanks sunny01 for sharing this information. Gee! That's a nice price improvement from Connolly. From £330 up to £460.
All the more thanks to Rogue Territory for not ripping us fans off.

I have been in contact with Connolly's PR/Media company and try as I might they have not been able to provide measurement specs in order to pick out the correct size but I will be receiving a few different sizes to compare. Not the ideal way to choose what size one would take but its something.....

When I spoke with Connolly in London they advised me to take a Small. I'm 5'8", 39" chest, 30/31" waist. They advised me this would give the same fit/look as DC.

However, if the price hike is the same for the jacket without pre-ordering ie just being on the reservation list, they can keep it. A 40% price rise? X-( X-(

I have almost the same measurements as you but they advised me a size L...
    I wear size M habitually

Wow, this makes it really hard to pre-order. Think I'll cancel my reservation.......

did somebody else receive that e-mail from connolly? they put me on the waiting list but I haven't heard anything since then
ouch 40%! at this time I praise brands like RGT
hard decision, especially when you have the mango-jacket already in your wardrobe at least they give the option of exchange

I think the mark-up by them is excessive given that we know the original cost of the jacket. I find it difficult to justify purchasing the jacket. Clearly they feel they have sufficient demand to justify the mark-up, and to be fair its business and a once off for them to capitalise on being in Bond.

Just a general rule with linen: Size up. Linen is a nice summer cloth that needs to drape nicely and therefor needs some space. No one wants to wear skintight linen.

Thanks for the latest info on the Connolly jacket sunny01.

I'm seriously considering taking the jump and making a pre-order purpose despite the ridiculous mark up. I emailed Connolly a while back asking to be placed on their waiting list, but never heard anything back.

sunny01 - do you (or anyone else for that matter) have the contact details from the correspondence you received?

    I previously emailed popup@connollyengland.com

    Cheers

Disappointing hike up but not harping on, it is what it is.
Never really been sold on this jacket and is more of a summer purchase imo, just won't get enough serious wear from it.
Gonna stick with my frugal mango £10 one :007)
I'm sure some other brand will benefit, npeal etc and still waiting to confirm the following I believe -

    Jamaica
    1 grey t shirt
    2 navy shorts

    Garage outfit
    1 white t shirt/henley
    2 Navy jeans/chinos
    3 boots

    Plenty left :))

I spoke to them today, and, instead of doing a generic email blast to all on the list, they are responding to each email individually. Still no sign of a size chart yet, despite my request.

For all those on the Connolly email list remember to check your junk mail folder, that's where I found my email about the pre-order.

I replied asking for more information, specifically VAT deduction for those outside the EU, shipping costs, and a size chart with product dimensions.

I also expressed my surprise at the 40% price increase.

Maybe a collective outcry about the price increase might give them food for thought. They’re clearly exploiting the situation, as someone said all credit to RGT for maintaining their price...

I've asked to be removed from the waiting list because of the price rise. I totally get supply & demand and was expecting a bit of an increase but for me it's way too big a hike - I don't know how much screen time the jacket actually gets, I've never actually seen it or tried it on and I'm not really sure how often I'd wear it. Easy choice for me in the end :D

Yes agreed, I’ll make do with my Mango alternative I think...

I have to laugh at myself sometimes. When the Rogue Territory Jacket was revealed I wasn’t too bothered about it. I then started to warm to it and picked up a denim Supply jacket which is truly wonderful. I thought that would scratch the itch.... but it didn’t.

    As I mentioned earlier I then tried on the SA tan Supply jacket and wasn’t crazy about it. Roll forward less than a week and I’ve just picked one up in grey for a great price :)) -{

yeah the Mango jacket is the point, still available by the way: https://bit.ly/3aiHFYl
if I would tell my friends that I own the £22 mango jacket and want me to buy the £440 connolly I will look into many "dude wtf"-faces

I don't know how and I don't know why but Chakshu London offers a sale on the PB Joe and Norton LE. (with the voucher-code REFER5 you get £5 off, so you can save £30 total / only £5 more than the "standard"-version
