The Daily Mail cartoonist has a Bondian take on the Johnson reshuffle.

Oddly, it's similar to a gag I made on my political Twitter feed - which comes with plenty of Bond images - @GraylingLegacy. Have a gander if you're in the mood.

Horrible news with the shooting in Germany. These groups, both extreme muslims and anti-muslims, feed off each other and makes life unsafe for the non-violent majority.

So far seven people (most linked to Trump and his 2016 campaign) have been centenced by US courts for working with Russia or trying to hide the Trump campaign's help from Russia. Alex van der Zwaan (no links to Trump, tried to hide links to Russia), George Papadopoulos (Trump's Security adviser, lied to the FBI about Russian contacts), Richard Pinedo (no links to Trump, moved money from Russia to Trump's campaign), Paul Manafort (leadeer of Trump's campaign. conspiracy against USA, obstruction against the investigation, lied to the FBI), Rick Gates (Adviser to Trump's campaign. Conspiracy and false statements), Roger Stone (Adviser. Fase testemony in Congress, tried to hinder the investigation) and Michael Flynn (Security advicer. Lied about contacts with Russia).

Not all the Presiden't men, but if I was an American (and especially a Republican) I would be deeply worried.

    Today, state elections in Hamburg.

It seems that Hamburg is the first state parliament where the rightwing populists from the AfD are being kicked off because they can‘t cross the 5% hurdle.

I'm glad to hear it! Growing up I honestly didn't belive Germany would have a large far right party again. At least the country has a large and forceful counter-movement to that party, so all was not in vain :) :)

We’ve had not so great experiences with „the will of the people“ between 1929 - 1945, particularly when the worst instincts are called and triggered by racism, xenophobia and nationalism :#

Must have thought to himself, "it looks nice out, I'll get mine out"

In other news, genuinely staggered to see how many people have been triggered by Yorkshire Tea ... people actually talking about boycotting them, all due to Rishi Sunak being pictured with a bag of them :)) the mind boggles

CDU Grümn and lefty idiots are messing uo this land once and for all
ive lived here since 89 ( ex forces ) and private since 93 i did my ausbildung there and work in customer service and ill tell you straight 80% of the customers i speak to think that this land is also going down tthe tubes
and yes i voted for AFD as well

And you registered today to absorb all this? :)) :)) :))

It can't hurt to read (and understand) fully, not mentioning your various spelling mistakes.

The keyword is "it seems" which I have used in my post 35 minutes after the polling stations have closed.
Yes, the AfD is in with 5,3% which is sad.

I am living here since 1986. Hamburg is one of the wealthiest cities and is famous for its liberal spirit.
The CDU has not been in charge in Hamburg since 2011 - that is 9 years.

"CDU are messing up this land once and for all". And how exactly is that?
Just because you don't agree that they let war victims from Syria in in 2015 you and your friends are getting more and more hateful.

What else than hate, xenophobia and sarcasm has the AfD to offer so that you and your pals support them.

The world is a complicated place and I want to hear programmes and solutions - the AfD is a protest party without such and adds a hefty portion of outrage, hate and other bad things into brains of basically good people.

Disclaimer: I have never voted for the CDU in my life.
And will fight Nazis until my last breath!

Agreed the usual route is to talk bollocks
Before talking politics. .... although both

It may be more interesting how this new membership has happened.

My theory: one of our regulars who felt outraged by my comment shared my post in his Whatsapp/Facebook (bubble) group and someone felt the need to fight back.

I don‘t believe a „long time lurker - first poster“ explanation of this

A brief update ref: Yorkshire Tea-gate ... the social media / customer service person managing their twitter account has done a great job so far & has achieved 37.6K likes (to date) with their reply to a narky lady by simply stating, "Sue, you're shouting at tea" :)) this has been beyond entertainment in the last couple of days!

China kidnapped a bookseller in Hong Kong, smuggled him to their territory and gave him a ten year sentence for espionage. All this because he sold some books about the private lives of communist party officials in China. And that's why leaders of state are forbidden in the constitutions of all democracies to interfere in court cases.

The thing I find funny about the
    Boycotting of Yorkshire Tea, by
Some of the left wing Labour
    Supporters. Is Labour is supposed
To be the party of the working class,
Yet this action will lead to workers
    Losing their jobs ?
Also Jeremy Corbyn was pictured with
A box of Yorkshire Tea only a couple of
    Years ago :D

That argument could apply to most things happening in a capitalist world.

Yes, even the most evil companies do employ workers, so should consequently nothing be done against them just because then jobs may be in the line?
Even druglords, terrorist organizations, the Mafia, Triads etc. employ people.

As an example, I‘ll take Monsanto (Bayer)who for sure employ workers in their factories.
Should nobody boycott their products just because jobs may be affected?
