Spears and Cyrus both had a very sexualized public image, while Eilish has made a conscious decision to wear baggy clothes to avoid any focus on her body. The actual similarities between the three artists at that point of their career boils down to being very young women who has tremendous success as singers.

We’re two months into the 2020s; I think it might be a little early to call her the artist of the decade. Also Cyrus was big for maybe a year in the 2010s so I think that’s a little off as well.
I love the song, think it fits well with Daniel Craig's moody, love-struck Bond. Listening to the lyrics made me realize how relationship-prone his Bond is. Spending a lot of tenure with someone or being heartbroken.

Plus, it is also the post #MeToo world. People in the entertainment industry are waking up, rethinking about their provocative lifestyle.
But Spears ans Cyrus are pretty were pretty simular in terms of music and public persona. Like you I wonder if very sexualized teenagers would be accepted as pop stars today.

While both get writing credits on their songs, they tend to be included along with an army of writers.....so it is questionable how much of a contribution they actually make. Eilish, despite her young age appears to be considered a much more serious artist who shares song writing credit with her brother and is presented as sort of the anti-Spears/Cyrus with her baggy outfits, etc.
Wow...they do love her. IMO, her vocal is better in this live performance than the recording. More power and emotion. Her nails do look like they would make great weapons for a villain. )

The late 1980s and 1990s had Debbie Gibson, she also rose to popularity when she was a teen.
In the boy's side we had two Justins, the 2000s have Justin Timberlake and the 2010s have Justin Bieber! They were both teen hearthrobs. I wonder who would be the Justin Timberlake/Bieber of the 2020s...

And why do all the new Bond songs have to avoid sounding like regular songs? Barry only did a few songs that were swing-jazz inspired - Goldfinger and The Man with the Golden Gun - the rest were just regular contemporary good melodic songs.
How come all this circa 1950s swing sound for the Craig era Bond? It's so needlessly Bond 1965 retro.

Interesting interview with Johnny Marr posted on MI6.com from the BAFTAS.
Marr alluded to the use of guitar in the classic Barry scores and apparently there is quite a bit of guitar featured in the score.
I also read on MI6.com that Steve Mazzaro (who did the score for The Rhythm Section) and is one of Zimmers guys, has contributed to the NTTD score.
The official soundtrack to #NoTimeToDie by @hanszimmer will be released on 27 March. Joining Zimmer on scoring the soundtrack are @johnnymarrgram and @steve_mazzaro

If Barry had gone on to write the scores after The Living Daylights the scores would not have sounded like his Goldfinger work at all. He had evolved from that by the time of You Only Live Twice, and was doing more varied and contemporary sounding scores.
The current Eon crew aren’t able to see this subtlety of development in Bond music history though. Arnold was aware of it on some level, but still fell for the “Bond music must be swing” fallacy.
