Alba, and Connolly and TF all moving forward....at least with their social media and online efforts. I think theirs will be much more subtle than OB was going to be. Alba and Connolly, for example, didn't organize tons of new journal ads and articles and TF is going out to customers and prospects with the capsule line and a few influencers.

The above three didn't have major countdowns for example...

Connolly also has my (and some of your) money already. Presumably the jacket is already in production and will be shipped. But if not, I'd certainly hope for a refund rather than them holding customer funds against an unknown future.

I've already paid for my Connolly so i am good BUT if they were to postpone production for a while then i'd prefer a refund. Once we know production is going to occur i would then just pay them again.

But it may be because the Dr No blue polo shirt featured in the last phase of the OB 007 Collection, perhaps.

I think its hilarious they did the Dr No polo in white ( to match what appears on the incorrect German lobby cards) 8-) 8-) Yet the pants are blue as in the film... Very strange decision on their part.. :s :s

And I'd wager the pants don't match the electric blue of their first DR NO polo. I love that piece but wish it were a more accurate shade.

A Bahamas white shirt with epaulettes would have been fantastic.. that's one that has been on my list for YEARS now..

David, are you wearing the new Moonraker top in your Omega review? :))

It kept distracting me from those gorgeous watches! The whole video and there wasn’t even a single mention of the top...David you sly bastard ;)

I assumed it was the Moonraker shirt when I saw his Omega teaser on Instagram yesterday and the pieces from the collection. I need that shirt. I think I like Moonraker more than the average person here.

The Octopussy jacket looks good too. A few other pieces I might pick up. Some shirts and shorts. Still no Dalton jackets. But they will get there I bet.

I definitely like Moonraker more than the average person here. It's in my top 5. The Moonraker shirt looks great, but they interpreted it in a much different way than the original shirt. It's more like a polo sweater than a shirt like the original was. OB's interpretation is definitely more accessible.

Agreed. Depending on price, that’s definitely the piece that I am most inclined to purchase. I’ll also consider the Octopussy blouson or one of the camp collar shirts. The prices last time were just too high for me to get more than one or two items, which I’m sure will be the same this time.

Me too. But do I need another blue jacket, let alone another Harrington?

Then there's the current situation, with my town on near-lockdown. No place to go aside from the market. :#

Just hope I don't turn the air conditioner up too much. May need to unpack a certain puffer jacket. :D :D :D

I wouldn't go as far as top 5. Connery's first 5 will never be topped for me. Moonraker is probably somewhere in my top 10.

Thinking about it. In my 6 to 10. It would be (not in rank):

    6. The Spy Who Loved Me
    7. Moonraker
    8. Never Say Never Again
    9. The Living Daylights

I have room for one more but I'm not sure which. I love that two part of The Spy Who Loved Me and Moonraker though. They are very exotic adventure type movies.

Did Orlebar Brown ever say if they will bring pieces back into production or if these are a limited production run? I believe they restocked a few items once. But I still haven't decided on that Dr. No robe and I see they only have one size left. I'm really not a robe person. But if I use one, why not one from Dr. No.

That DR. NO robe is pretty great. I'm glad I picked it up even if the price point was a tad...excessive.

I know I owned some kind of robe once. I think I used it less than 5 times. I'm more a towel and get dressed or go to sleep person. But this robe would be a one and done, my forever robe if I get it.

I'm kind of surprised that they aren't trying to make some Bond Girl stuff. That's a market they are passing on I guess.

Are there any Vendors that might have the Skyfall Setter size 34" in stock? Perhaps in Europe?

I missed out initially as I wasn't even aware of it's existence and have been scouring the internet since. I'm in the US.

Any confirmation of a Skyfall Setter getting (another) re-release?

How does OB stuff tend to fit? I'm going to give it my best to get that Moonraker zip polo and I want to be ready as far as what size to purchase? It looks like it would have some stretch to it but I don't want it to be skin tight either, would appreciate some advice from some who have purchased OB before.

I find the fit to be slim. I have a 43” chest and always take an XL.

It’s funny with the differences in sizes across continents and cultures, I take a L in most American brands, an XL in most European brands, and an XXL(!) if ever I buy a Japanese brand.
  • bosoxfanbosoxfan Posts: 611MI6 Agent
Thanks, I was afraid of that, I'm a 46 chest and having to go up to a XX rarely works out well, hoping this might be an exception.

Co-signed on them running slim. It can be flatteringly slim, but some of this beachwear you want to be a little cozier.
