A good perspective, but not really relevant to my post. It is personal when Joe Darlington gives a false impression of what I wrote to him and claims I have other views than I actually have. It's well documented in my post.

You keep beating this drum, why don't you message Joe directly again? I had no idea he referenced youg my nameuntil YOU started talking about it.

He first talked about me on BeingJamesBond with a photo of my post in the back ground, including my name. Everyone who watches BJB knows he's talking about me. Then I got hold of his E-mail address and reached out to him. I thought we had it more or less worked out, but then he goes on JBR and gives the impression that I wanted him to stop talking about Corona. In fact I wrote in several E-mails to him that it's only natural fro him to talk about Corona on BJB. I reached out to him again on E-mail, but he denies any wrong doing. That's when I decided to post the facts about whgat happened here on AJB.

Since Joe Darlington is saying things that aren't true about me in Public, I think it's only fair I set the record straight in public.

Joe Darlington just E-mailed me and apologized unreservedly. He retracted his words and asked me to bring this on to AJB.
    This business is thankfully over.

That last paragraph looks very familiar....! But I can't quite place it...I wanda say its from a movie but I may be just fishing.....

Joes Darlington asked me to post his E-mail here in full. Here it is:

PLEASE convey to people on AJB that I was IN NO WAY implying that you were trying to stop me from talking about Corona.

I did not have proper notes with me to refer to so that I could quote you directly. I gave a quick and rudimentary account of what was said, and I obviously did a poor job of it. If I gave the impression that you were trying to stop me from talking about Corona then I APOLOGIZE.

Again, I ALSO made it clear on JBR that I thought it was very nice of you to reach out to we could clear the air.

I have no plans to discuss this in any way in the future.

Once again... I apologize. I’m really really sorry, I apologize unreservedly. I offer a complete and utter retraction. The imputation was totally without basis in fact, and was in no way fair comment, and was motivated purely by malice, and I deeply regret any distress that my comments may have caused you, or your family, and I hereby undertake not to repeat any such slander at any time in the future.

I've been wondering how EON can re-ignite the promotion campaign for NTTD in the Autumn. This was one of the topics in the JBR episode that may have been mentioned above :v . One idea they had was releasing scenes from the film. LTK was used as an example. They released the underwater scene up to the point where Bond is pulled to the surface by the harpoon cord and he breaks the surface.
It didn't reveal anything from the plot and it left you wanting more. Not Higgins of course, but by other people. I think that's a good idea.

    I have two ideas:

    - Release more posters. This should include several fan made posters. Some of them are great and they are fresh and different. Releasing fan made posters as a part of an official promotion hasn't been done as far as I know before and could be a talking point in it self. It may even create some buzz,

    - The "Boom. Shot Dis" video showing filming in Jamaica was brilliant. Why not do something like it for some of the other locations?

What about a tag line like: "Now, more than ever, the world needs Bond...."

Coke Zero NTTD cans, can we expect a Coke Zero advertising campaign in due course?

I have recently read the GQ interview with Daniel Craig and I must admit I was hire surprised with his response at the end of the interview when he was giving his feedback on the movie after watching a private screening himself.....”I think it works” he said pausing on every word. It’s hardly a ringing endorsement of the movie and quite underwhelming. You would think maybe he would have said something a bit more positive such as we’ve done a great job this time or I’m happy with how this one has turned out, it was a fitting end for my last movie etc etc? Anyone else think the same, could be just be purposely underplaying it?

A very nice 130-paged booklet I picked up at the news stand today. The Playboy collaborated with a cinema-magazine for this special edition covering Bond‘s entire history, gadgetry, travels...and affairs. B-)

how do you know he paused on every word if you read the interview?

anyway, that seems consistent with the way he usually speaks. He says as little as possible, then expresses himself more meaningfully with that intimidating glower.
Except for that time he won at craps on SNL, that was a different side of him.

The interview stated that he paused on every word when he made the statement. I was repeating what was transcribed in the magazine itself.

interesting, then, that they chose to emphasise that.
I shouldn't worry though, he's a moody one, our Daniel, not really the smooth diplomatic type.

Yes, especially Moore and Brosnan were much better "salesmen".

I was a little taken aback by the lack of enthusiasm as well. He did say SP was "SF x10" which in many ways he was right but maybe now hes more keen on just letting audiences decide before making any bold claims. He seems pleased enough that this is is final film over SP though.

I wouldn't over react to a quote from an interview....especially when you can't actually see and hear Craig. Did he have a satisfied grin on his face when he said it? Who knows. Craig is not particularly fond of doing interviews and he can come off a lot different from interview to interview. All things considered looking at the big picture, I'm not going to torture myself while we wait once again for this film in November. I'll just be happy if anyone who wants to see NTTD is able to get to a theater and see it in November.

    No reshoots for NTTD
    https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-8158483/BAZ-BAMIGBOYE-No-time-spy-James-Bond-coronavirus-lockdown.html

I found it hard to believe that there would be reshoots. I also find it hard to believe that only a handful will see the film before its 'gala' by which I am assuming Baz Bamigboye means the premiere at the Royal Albert Hall. What about the press screening?

They were still filming about four weeks ago at Leavesdon, that’s 100%. But it was completed then too.

Or maybe it was done the way he wanted and he's being humble about it.
