That's a pretty fair assessment of 'James Bond In India'. I imagine it was a short for the cinema. I think it was made by Jerry Juroe, who was responsible for publicity and highly experienced - which makes all the more surprising the tendency of this short to lapse into longeurs. The narrator derided by Dyson sounds like Michael Jayston, a familiar and prolific voiceover artist of the time as well as an onscreen actor. If it was he, he'd also narrated trailers of some of the earlier Bond films.
Critics and material I don't need. I haven't changed my act in 53 years.

I haven't seen this in its entirety, but from the portion that I watched the narrator sounds like Patrick Allen. Allen is also a prolific voice over artist, and also narrated some Bond trailers of that era. I've seen him in a couple of films as well, including The Wild Geese, and he was the villain in the final episode of series 1 of Blackadder.

I concur, sounds more like Allen than Jayston.

Any resemblence to Castro is purely coincidental :D :D :D

The crowd at the horse riding show is rather scant. The Castro figure ogling Bianca would be General Medrano in an altogether different kind of Bond film.

So is her name Bianca (as in the credits) or "Karina", as Bond seems to say?
