Yup. Not only do they fit him best I'd argue QoS was the best fitted Bond since OHMSS.

Agreed. Both represent the peak in Bond’s tailoring for me.

40 slim fit would be similar to 38R I would think...

Any chance TF would do a special run on the Regency fit? It’s a shame it was discontinued.

QoS, for me, is the best of DC's movies as far as style goes. CR wasn't bad either. For me, Brosnan's wardrobes are my favorite ones.

"History isn't kind to men who play God." - DC "I gave him the limp." - PB  "Better make that two." - TD

"Keeping British end up, sir." - RM "This never happened to the other fellow." - JL "I must be dreaming." SC

I was lucky enough to build my relatiinship with TF so high that they did agree to reprise the regency fit specially for me.
But it was a bit of a battle

Skewered, one sympathises...

1. CR. 2. TSWLM. 3. LTK. 4. GF. 5. SF.

Re: No Time To Die wardrobe: possible spoilers

TF will make a MTM Regency cut with a $500-700 "cliché" fee. Not sure if it's available via MTO, but I know MTM will do it.

Re: No Time To Die wardrobe: possible spoilers

CD's TF suits in most of the bond movies are not well fitted at all! Clearly he sizes down from what would be his natural size. A savile row tailor certainly would not let him leave the store with the suit pulling in as many parts as in the majority of his bond movies.

Is that what it's really called internally, a "cliché" fee? Too funny.

Re: No Time To Die wardrobe: possible spoilers

Oddly enough when I sold me’s suits a few years back, 2-3 years ago, we had tons of people asking for a fit that is too tight ala Skyfall. No matter how big or small they were they wanted it to fit like that, but they didn’t want it to feel right.  ajb007/crap

Re: No Time To Die wardrobe: possible spoilers

Was watching an episode of Yellowstone today while working out, Kevin Costner's character, who wears some very nice western style clothes in the show, had on a jacket in one of the closing scenes that was very stylishly similar to the Solden jacket from Spectre.  Same quilted look front, sweater/knitted sleves and back, very nice and looked to be high quality.  Anyboy got a clue how one could find any info on it?  Might make for a nice alternative.

I think I saw a story about another character's jacket from that show. It was on a site like Gearpatrol, HiConsumption, or TheCoolector. Which in turn linked to the manufacturer. It might be possible that the jackets are the same manufacturer.

If that doesn't turn anything up, do a search for best field jackets. I was looking for Bond's jacket in the opening of Never Say Never Again and found a bunch of men's clothing sites that I would look over to see if they were worth noting. That's when I saw the story about the Yellowstone jacket.

Great idea, here is the address if anyone is interested and one pic just so you can see what I'm talking about.  The pics make it look greenish but I'm pretty sure it is black.

Just an FYI and an opinion, I got the LL Bean wooly pully and for 68 dollars, it is a really good option for people who can’t stomach the price of the N. Peal version

Re: No Time To Die wardrobe: possible spoilers

I've received the Graham Jacket in Olive so can compare it to the Blue. One or both will have to go back. The Olive is £31 cheaper and I'm thinking the colour might be a bit more versatile with blue jeans etc.

I think what Bond Ambitions was suggesting was also to move the discussion of the Yellowstone jacket out of the NTTD wardrobe thread since, if anything, it harkens back to Spectre.

I don't know if it's you or the jacket, but I prefer the olive here.

I'm inclined to agree. The blue looks a bit anorak(y) in comparison as I think the wax suits the olive colour better.

It might be an illusion as well but I also prefer the look of the collar on the olive.

I've now got three from the Barbour Engineered Garments Collaboration. Only one can stay and everyone I've asked has said the Olive Graham is the best. I'm not welded to SA colours so I think that will be the winner.
