    A smidge more it looks, but honestly, unless you have them side by side like in the picture, would you have noticed?

    I've got the feeling there is more space between the lines of "flowers" on the Royale than on the Zara ?:)

    Of course not......Dan did a great job in replicating that shirt....as usual :)

    Who made the shirt with the Enjoying Death tag?

    Also, it seems that only the original Zara has the added darker lining patches. I wonder why nobody bothered to add this detail.

    Because the darker, grey, placket was removed on the screen worn shirt.

    You can dive into the 56 page thread about the Enjoying Death shirt project if you so choose.

    Ah yes! I forgot about that!

    Wowzers... that's a lot of death being enjoyed, right there. You know, whatever the flaws in a ROYALE replica, I appreciate seeing it compared directly with the original. I'm actually a bit surprised at the 'hue' of the original in these photos, amazing how much lighting impacts what you think you see. Thanks for sharing, great work.

    It cannot be overstated - yours is the first one in 8 years that's true to size. A massive feat with this shirt! -{

    Just ordered mine. Really excited for this one

    Received mine the other day, and as someone that never owned the original nor any of the other replicas, I love this shirt.

    6'3", 195, 42" chest - Size "Large" fits perfectly, no adjustments needed. The length is good tucked or untucked if you're around my height. Fabric is really nice, and doesn't seem to have shrunk in the wash (hung dry) but did soften up a little which is nice. Looks like it will last through a lot of wearings.

    Well done Dan @ Royale!

    That's great news! I was trying to keep you tall guys in the game on this one, so glad to hear you're happy with the fit. Just an FYI for everyone, they have flown off the shelf, I think most guys who originally showed interest were able to grab one. As of now I only have a handful of size smalls left and one size XXXL, if those are your sizes... Thank you all for the valuable feedback and the support, I appreciate it.

    Dan,

    Based on this response will you be considering another run of the Enjoying Death shirt?
    I know where you keep your gun!

    Just want to echo the praise.
    Shirt fits great, nice details and great pattern.
    Sticking with Medium as fit is loose but nowhere near baggy.
    Not surprised all popular sizes are gone.
    Well dine Dan as ever!
    Skewered, one sympathises...

    1. CR. 2. TSWLM. 3. LTK. 4. GF. 5. SF.

    I want to echo 007JBDCMWR's praise for the shirt.

    Even though he and I share a jacket size, I have longer arms and torso so the L works well for me. I prefer the looser chest fit in such a casual shirt. All a matter of body type and personal preference.

    Well done, indeed, Dan. -{

    Looking forward to the revised Madagascar Shirt and the Harringtons.

    I hope you tackle the DAD Havana shirt. As AugustWalker owns a screen used shirt perhaps he can help with fabric and color matching.

    Glad to hear this shirt was such a success! It looked great in The Bond Experience review.

    I'd be interested in that, but unless I'm mistaken the original Brioni shirt's floral patterns are embroidered (is that the right term?), not printed on, making the shirt a much more challenging prospect.

    The shirt from DAD was embroidered yes, Bond Lifestyle has great close up shots. I'd jump on that in a heart beat if a replica was made

    The pocket flaps are a bit more rounded on the Royale shirt, otherwise, it is an amazing replica!

    I feel like it's Magnoli and the ED shirt that made the pockets too sharp - next to the Zara the Royale looks more SA (to my eye)

    Hi all, just received my shirt and absolutely delighted with it! Just wondering how everyone has been washing their shirts and if anyone has had any shrinkage? I'm a 40 chest and ordered a medium which is just slightly looser than I would prefer so hoping that a wash will have it fitting more snugly.

    It may shrink if you put it in the dryer. I hung dried mine and didn't notice any shrinkage.. quite happy about that because it already fit perfect.

    I washed mine yesterday. Am also 40 but i ordered the size S after i saw DZ's video. There was zero shrinkage after washing it in low temperature.
