The Royal Film Performance™ CASINO ROYALE
‘Casino Royale’ is the chosen film for the 60th Royal Film Performance™, taking place on Tuesday 14th November 2006 at the Odeon Leicester Square, London.
All funds raised from the World Premiere of Casino Royale will go to the Cinema & Television Benevolent Fund (CTBF), the unique trade charity of the film and television industries. Read the full press release here
Due to unprecedented demand there are no further tickets available for the Royal Premiere. We are holding a VIP Simultaneous Screening at the Odeon West End, a late night screening at the Odeon Leicester Square and a Pre-Premiere Cocktail Reception at Penthouse, No.1 Leicester square, on the same night – November 14th 2006.
The Simultaneous Screening is an exclusive red carpet event with priority going to CTBF Members. The screening will commence shortly after the Royal Premiere has begun. Stars of the film and the Royal Party can be seen on CCTV footage on screens at the Pre Premiere Cocktails & Canapés Reception. This is a very special opportunity to experience the ‘red carpet’ treatment and at a fraction of the cost!
CTBF Members can priority book tickets for either the Simultaneous Screening or the Late Night Screening in advance and directly through the CTBF until August 31st 2006.
To become a member of the CTBF please download the Membership Application Form and Gift Aid form and post it to the address given with your contact information and credit card details filled in full.
Please ensure we receive your Membership Application before Wednesday 23 August 2006. Please note that tickets will be sold on a first come first served basis and are subject to availability.

It's a good cause, I'm not sure of the wisdom otherwise of paying more to see it on an inferior screen when you could wait a day and get the best seat in the house...

I suppose its just for the experience. Afterall, its the closest you can get to being at the actual Royal do (and a lot cheaper).
I happen to be in London at that time so I will be there for sure. No tickets fo a movie unfortunately, but I'll have a look at what's going on anyway.
