‘CASINO ROYALE’ PREMIERE

Are you feeling lucky? Casino Royale is coming to Glasgow

It’s one of the most anticipated films of the year and you could be among the first to see Daniel Craig make his debut as 007.

The Cinema and Television Benevolent Fund (CTBF) is pleased to announce an exclusive Glasgow premiere screening of this year’s chosen Royal Film Performance™ – the latest Bond blockbuster, ‘Casino Royale’.

The red carpet event will take place at the Cineworld Glasgow at Renfrew Street on Wednesday 15th November – just 24 hours after the movie’s world premiere at the Odeon Leicester Square, London.

Based on Ian Fleming’s first ever Bond novel, ‘Casino Royale’ is directed by Martin Campbell – the man behind the 1995 hit Goldeneye.

This year marks the 60th Anniversary of The Royal Film Performance™ - one of the highlights of the film industry’s calendar. It is the principal fundraising event of the CTBF and has been held annually since 1946 with the very first performance being ‘A Matter of Life or Death’ starring David Niven. Other Royal Film Performances™ have included Rob Roy, Love Story, Chariots of Fire, Titanic and Die Another Day.

All funds raised from the exclusive Glasgow screening will go to the Cinema & Television Benevolent Fund - the trade charity for people who work ‘behind the scenes’ in the film and television industries.

Don’t miss your chance to be part of this exciting event. VIP packages cost £35, including a pre-premiere cocktails and canapés from 6.15pm to 7.15pm in Langs Hotel in Killermont Street. All booking enquiries to l.filby@ctbf.co.uk <mailto:l.filby@ctbf.co.uk>  by Oct 31st.

Notes to Editor:
