How about.......

How about they have clans on forum like roger moore clan or whatever clan. For movie or certain actor or movie. It can be featured under the icon info. If we did this I would like to lead the Pierce Brosnan clan.

Nice idea PB355 (I can't imagine why you would want to head up a PB faction ;) ), but this is a James Bond forum, not a forum for 6 individual actors.

We hope that everyone can view all 21 films (+3) and discuss them all.

just an idea it can be tinkered like ppl eho like q or certain supporting actors or films. The only reason i said i should lead clan idea is b/e it was sort of my idea. It's just an idea.

It is an interesting idea and I am considering something similiar, however I am not 100% sure of the benefits of a 'clan' surely it just encourages differences between groups of fans. As clan is used in online gaming and battles etc I don't really see how it would prove to be constructive.

Frankly, I don't like this idea one bit. I'm a James Bond fan, period--I've seen a lot to like in all six Bond actors and I don't see any one actor's films to be superior to all the rest. This idea just strikes me as unnecessarily divisive and even political. Let's all be Bond fans and leave it at that.

CBn has a forum dedicated to each of the six Bond actors. I think it works pretty well, I don't see it in any way as being unnecessarily devisive. Having said that, I am more than happy with the set up here.

It's not having different segments divided up by actor that I object to--it's identifying oneself with a particular actor and grouping oneself with a "clan." It sounds too much like Survivor--let the strongest win!

    Survivor had Elisabeth Hasselbeck :x

Her aside however, I think it's a great idea! And while it might not be a "clan" or get it's own board, we could have a topic totally dedicated to the actor, or even the film!

(And I'd make sure the post-count on AVTAK would go through the roof)

I think special groups might be a nice touch, like the NSA, or the People that love Timothy Dalton group, or the I Didn't Care for Casino Royale, Thank You very much group, etc. etc.

Not saying I'm begging for this to happen, but it would be a touch and if it's too much work for you Si, then I say put this one in a box for a rainy day.

Wasn't there something like this a few years back? I believe it may have originated with a mister Red Grant. It was limited to signatures of course, and I believe it went out of fashion within a few months.
It's all right. It's quite all right, really. She's having a rest. We'll be going on soon. There's no hurry, you see. We have all the time in the world.

There wasn't anything official--a lot of people formed "societies," such as "Pussy Galore's Flying Circus" (a lot of the women here were in that) and "The Wint and Kidd Appreciation Society" (that one may still be in Jetsetwilly's sig), but they were just for fun and amounted to nothing more than a mention in the sig.
