BMW Z3 with Gadgets?

Trolling the internet for something else entirely, I stumbled on an article about the folks who tricked-out the 750i for TND. In that, they mention also having added gadgets to a Z3 for a television appearance. I was always disappointed that while Q referenced the car's capabilities, we never got to see any of them ... not even a control panel!
At any rate, anyone have any information on this "functioning" Z3? I tried poking around a bit more on the web but found nothing.
