10 years ago, we met the fantabulous FIONA VOLPE in her last mission against the one and only JAMES BOND 007. Now, as her secret, captured SPECTRE file is declassisfied in a knockout TV show as we follow the villainous VOLPE around the world on secret missions. Controlled by BLOFELD (Orson Welles) and constantly harrassed by Special Purpose Y Region (SPY) operative JAMES GUNN (George Lazenby), VOLPE will have you voting for more!
1) "Zen I Will Kill Him"
While on a spiritual vacation in Marrakesh but actually plotting to monopolize the world's supply of saffron and vanilla, Fiona falls in love with James Gunn not knowing he is an operative of SPY. Emotionally bruised by this encounter (they escape each other), she vows to Blofeld to fight for SPECTRE to her death. Blofeld is satisfied.
2) "Somezing To Pude On"
Fiona ventures to the Milan fashion shows where she is undercover as a model to steal the new and valuable designs of KANTALOOP (Liberace) to sell to Far Eastern industrialists.
3) "Taken For A Ride"
Fiona goes to the Hindu Kush as a journalist to reinforce stories of the Yeti, a SPECTRE cover story, set up while they mine the mountain of gold bullion led by intrepid explorer FIENNES (Ray Milland).
4) "'Eavenly Angels"
Sent to track down toppled US rockets dropped in the Caribbean, Fiona discovers a secret treasure map to legendary pirate, BROCCOLTZMAN's (Trevor Howard) hoard buried 185 years ago when America was still a British colony (cue lots of anachronistic and prescient comments - this is 1976 after all).
5) "Vanity Kills"
6) "Golden Grotto"
and so on and so on....
Episode 13: "C-C-C-Cairo!"
VOLPE oversees the plunder of the tomb of KEHONERI, ancient Pharoh of the Bridge of Fountains with junior administrator, AZIZ FEKKESH and corrupt dealer in antiquities and gambler, AKHBAR KARTOUM (later to be beaten up by Bond in the DAF PTS). BLOFELD with then renovate interior for his base of operations in the Middle East. Volpe is interrupted by JAMES GUNN accompanied by a certain DR JONES (guest star Tom Selleck). Shot in Las Vegas and the Nevada desert.
Episode 14: "The Mexican Connection"
VOLPE is sent to Mexico to poison the entire beer supply of the country. This will close bars and bring the country near to revolution plus increase the sales of SPECTRE tequila. Aided by local contact ACAPULCO BEY (Pedro Armendariz Jnr), the plot is rumbled when JAMES GUNN tastes the doctored beer and realizes it has too much flavour. A fight in a vat of beer ensues* with BEY being drowned in the vat - "Well, they like a worm in their beer down here" quips GUNN. We have lot of shots of VOLPE on the beach in her range of fabulous bikinis (designed by Donfeld). Shot in Southern California.
*Irving Allen, producer of the Matt Helm series tries to sue because this scene was borrowed the Dean Martin classic. An out of court settlement is reached but Dean Martin says he will do a guest appearance in a future episode.
and so on and so on....
24) "Animal In A Cage"
While on a routine training and refresher course in Borneo, Fiona discovers she was adopted by Blofeld and raised by him in various stations around the world. This character episode will be based in a studio-bound jungle set interspersed with clips from previous shows as the budget has run out. Fans from years to come will make this a firm favourite and Luciana will have to invent a rationale behind her performance on the autograph circuit while mopping up those Benjamins.
