Loeffs, can we have Timboys for fanatic Dalton fanboys, please
I'll have to find a synonym for Sir Miles being the highpriest of all timboys though - any suggestions?

SirTimboy?

SirTimboy?
Which is all well and good until you realise that I prefer both Craig and Lazenby before Dalton...

Well, if YOU are the definition of 'sane' then I INSIST on being 'insane'

Good point. Strike 'SirTimboy' from the record, officer.
How about "Daltonator" as a term for someone who goes just a teensy bit ballistic when challenged about Dalton -allegedly- not being the best - ever Bond?
This might be a little egotistical, but for someone who flounces or threatens to flounce
out of the forum over some perceived slight, I suggest ( thanks to Bondtoys predictive
text feature ) Thunderpissy, as in " Watch out he's thrown a Thunderpissy "

As in "I'll never watch a Bond movie again unless the gunbarrel sequence is placed at the start of the next film!" Would that qualify as throwing a "Thunderpissy"?
Oh, I'm not getting into all that ......... again

AC- Audio commentary
"Bondtots sarcastic" - to fly in the face of all reason and logic, stick determinedly to a point of view when beset from all sides, and bluff if out when cornered. Originally coined by Sir Miles.
It's called "being right and reasonable", Barbel
I know!
(by which I mean I understand, not agree)
It's called "being right and reasonable", Barbel
And there is another perfect example of it !
I second AC for Audio Commentary,
Bendytoys Sarcastic and throwing a Thunderpissy are brilliant.
Guys I'll add myself to the firing line - A character, story or film so bad it can only be a Thunderturd too!
Also for character clarification:
Admiral M for B Lee.
M - Mawd
M - Manf. for the Dame Judi versions of M
M - Mal. for R Finnes.
I did consider M -Har as in Hargreaves for R Brown, but was not sure that fits.
And as Ben Wishaw is the new Q, Q2?
I love " Thunderturd too ! "
....where is Loeffs anyway...haven't seen him much round these parts?
There was talk of him visiting this side of the pond too....
Well, he had some personal stuff to deal with which has taken up a lot of his time. And of course, he's still writing.
I've always enjoyed the Glossary- perhaps you'd enjoy taking it over, Lexi...?
Take it to the pub, guys- to be used when there's an opportunity for horrendous puns, double-entendres, etc which would disrupt a thread. All such comments to be referred to the Silencer & Bra-Strap. Coined by Thunderpussy.
