Just seeing if there would be any interest in this.

I am going to get a made to measure replica of this made from the same materials... the blue velvet and cream shammy leather holster to take a Walther PPK.

I would be happy to get some made to measure for anyone who is interested.

also .. any history regarding this holster would be appreciated... I know connery wore it in the pictures above... but what other Bonds wore it.. I am sure Roger Moore wore the same one in TMWTGG and promo shots for TSWLM...and I think Lazenby might have wore the same one...

as I say any info would be cool...

Contact DG, he makes/made the definitive spot on copy from as close to the original materials and measurements as it is possible to get of all of the various original style 60's holsters. There is nothing he doesn't know about the subject.

Here's a pic of one of the screen used originals, a little faded and discoloured now:

    Yes - I would recommend Donald Grant's.
    No point reinventing the wheel.
Well, may be a golden holster for the SDS Golden gun huh?

Yep, I still make the holster. However I only have finite supplies. So when they're gone, they're gone until I can get a re-supply. One of the items that goes into making it is notoriously hard to find.

You have a picture of my prototype holster. The chamois part is not fitted on my production holster, its straight. Likewise, the back straps are closer together at the attachment points like the original.

Also, the blue part of the holster is not made of velvet. My realized holster is based off on a holster that I commissioned a professionl holster maker to make. It cost a pretty penny, but was not screen accurate.

    PM me for details scaramangasgoldengun.

    Asp9mm,

Thanks for the vote of confidence. By the way, that screen original that you posted, do you know which film it was from?

Well, it looks like it's from the Moore era. However, the Thunderball holster did have a leather right arm strap. All the other Connery versions had a blue right arm strap. I'm still thinking Moore era though.
