  Nah, that's tied up with Peter Morgan writing it, he pens Sheen dramas but he's got nothing to do with this film now.

  I like Sheen, but he seems to similiar to Greene and/or Elvis in QOS. I'm ready for something different. Now the Rachel Weisz as villianess rumor I can get behind.

  Would rather not have Blofield back unless they are willing to tie up the loose ends once they are done with him which the original series didn't have the chance to.

  I'm not saying I believe this - however, I do think he would bring something to the set.... although bringing back blofeld is quite a strong move... considering they haven't introduced Moneypenny or a 'Q' type yet....

  Do Eon have the rights to Blofeld, as they couldn't mention him by name in FYEO. Have they done a deal to get Him Back ?

  I think all the legal stuff's been settled, but wouldn't bet money on it. There are those here who know that situation much beter than I do.
  
  If they go with Blofeld, it would have to be 'rebooted' like the rest of the series, IMO. Hard to say; Blofeld = SPECTRE. Right now they're wrestling with Quantum. Who knows?

  Well, they could simply make the point that Quantum is a division of SPECTRE or that after Bond destroys the Quantum organization, it reorganizes as SPECTRE.

  Thanks, I thought with getting Casino Royale and all the talk of Blofeld,(I know a lot of guess work by the press ) they might of also cleared up all the legal stuff over SPECTRE and Blofeld. But On thinking about it I doubt they would of gone to the bother of inventing QUANTUM if they could of gone with a revised SPECTRE.

  Something to keep in mind: "Blofeld" has become kind of shorthand for "Bond Villain." Remember, while QoS was being made, Max von Sydow referred to Mathieu Amalric being "Blofeld" in the new Bond movie. Long story short, this may not mean Sheen would be playing a villain who likes to stroke a pussy.
