Topic: Bond 24 villian

Afraid of hijacking the Michael Fassbender thread, I decided to open a new one. Who do you reckon should be the next villian? Actors who come to mind are Ewan McGregor, Sir Christopher Lee (again because he's so Awesome) Michael Kitchen (who was Tanner, yes, but is still awesome), Benedict Cumberbacht, Ian Mcdiarmid and Anne Hathaway (now that will be awesome, a villainess like her and a DC Anne sex scene would be awesome. They could make her the head of Quantum!) Your thoughts?

Anne Hathaway as a villan? That's creative thinking - I like it! Hataway is very beautiful, a good actress and as far as I know she hasn't played a villan before. I have wanted a female main villan for years.

Re: Bond 24 villian

After seeing an episode of Person Of Interest with Julian Sands. I think Julian can make a decent villain. He played Alistair Wesley. It reminded me a lot of Simon Gruber from Die Hard with a Vengeance.

He's definitely got the look!!
If we're going to return to Quantam though, I want some resolution to Mr. White. He got off pretty likely in QoS

James Purefoy makes a good villain in "The Following."  And since he looks like James Bond, he won't be confused with Craig.

Don't shoot me! I'm only joking.

Wouldn't like McGregor to be a villain, as I've always seen him as a possible future 007.

I would like to see Phillip Seymour as Blofeld.

Re: Bond 24 villian

How about a Nazi/Fascist revivalist as a villain - like in an unexpected place lke Hungary - the Arrow Cross Movement revival for instance.

Either William Fichtner or Benedict Cumberbatch would be awesome in my book! Although I reckon Benedict could pass for either a crazed villain or Bond himself! I may come out of fan-art retirement as I feel a fan poster coming on!

his portrayal of Goebels was brilliant  i have watched that film 5/6 times
and he was so  believable

By the way, did I tell you,  I was       "Mad"?

Re: Bond 24 villian

Charles Dance please.

Re: Bond 24 villian

Christoph Waltz seems to fit the bill, at least as far as the last three film villains go: European, versatile, and critically acclaimed.

Robert DeNiro we could only wish! I think actors of his caliber will never get into the Bond movies... He could easily fit the bill for an epic Mob boss in the world of today.  You could already picture him being casted as a very powerfull well-known and feared Don of a crime family. In a scene where he steps out of his car with a long raincoat and a lot of bodyguards and people shaking hands with him, while Bond is lurking in the shadows overlooking it all realising he's up against a very powerful man. Haha - I'm drooling of here  ajb007/lol

Laurence Fishburne is someone that could easily fit in the Bond univurse in my opinion. He could go for a villian, or an alie. It would all work well I think.

Re: Bond 24 villian

Sir Anthony Hopkins would make a great Bond villain (he's been considered in the past, I believe), as would the bombastic loudmouth Brian Blessed.  ajb007/smile

Re: Bond 24 villian

Anne Hathaway would be awesome!  Liked her has Catwoman, and loved the dynamic of the villainess in TWINE and the conflict it created in Bond.  Worked well in the Gardner novel 'Never Send Flowers' with the villainess being Blofeld's Daughter, too.  Also, has anyone considered Ioan Gruffudd or Julian McMahon?

Beg your pardon, forgot to knock...
