I'd go for You Know My Name. I love rock music and I think it's a fantastic song in the best Bond of them all.  ajb007/biggrin

It's so sixties but it still feels modern now. John Barry was an excellent composer  ajb007/heart

Has to be Goldfinger. The brassy sound and vocals is a tremendous experience.

Goldfinger is a tremendous feat of excellence. Barry & Bassy's DAF has a subtly more sophisticated sound though... damn, they're both so great...

Matt Monro's From Russia With Love. I simply love the classic feel of this song.

Agreed, it's the right piece of music for the movie and it's used well in it. I much prefer John Barry's instrumental version though: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iS0ddnUwU0Q

It's the theme I find myself singing the most.  ajb007/smile

“I didn’t lose a friend, I just realised I never had one.”

Re: THE Best title Song - in your opinion

I've been known to do that as well. I think Matt does it in Dm, though I prefer to use Em so that the little bits of the "James Bond Theme" are easier (and more authentic) to play on the guitar.

I tend to vary  the key during the song, sometimes  during
the same note.  ajb007/wink

Re: THE Best title Song - in your opinion

I'm going to have to go with Sir Paul McCartney's Live and Let Die.

I will add that, during my teen years, I heard Carly Simon's Nobody Does It Better a few thousand times while hanging out at my friend's house. We'd leave school and hang out at his house.  They had a beautiful technics turntable and audio system in an oak cabinet.  I didn't know it at first, but when my friend's father came home and put that song on that was a cue that Dad was feeling frisky, company had to leave soon and the boys had to go to bed early.

It got to the point where, as soon as we heard the song, we'd roll our eyes and I'd start packing up my school bag. ajb007/rolleyes

Re: THE Best title Song - in your opinion

I do like the rock songs used in Bond like You know my name and
Live and let die.  ajb007/martini  I even liked it when it was used for the titles of
The Rebel billionaire.
