Bond 24 & 25 to be shot back to back?

I was talking to a female friend yesterday, and her boyfriend works in security for some of the larger film shoots. He was asked about availability for the next Bind film, and was told that they will be shooting the next two films back to back to give continuity to Daniel Craig's look. Has anyone else heard any murmurings about this?

    This was mooted for QOS and Bond 23. I think it's a fab idea, but not sure that eon would actually do it. Anyway, one can but hope because it would mean two Bonds in successive years for the first time since the sixties! Just imagine, Bond 24 in autumn 2015 and Bond 25 for summer 2016. Hehehehehe.

    I think Eon were happy to go with it...but I think they backed down when they looked at logistics and the money needed to do this...I'd love this to happen...

    Eon do believe in keeping it fresh and reinventing themselves, and a two film story arc would be a departure... We can only hope... :007)

    Even if they filmed them back to back, I don't think they would release them only a year apart. Moreover, if they were filmed that way, they'd basically be part one and two of the same story. I'd prefer to have a completely different story for each.

    It would be pretty awesome if they did that. I really hope they do, but they would need to cast people for bond 25 early. I think Bond 25 will likely be Craig's last bond movie. Eon should do both 24 and 25 back to back.

    From my understanding, they are shooting them back to back so that DC's appearance won't change too much- not that the stories are linked, like with Casino Royale and Quantum Of Solace. But, hey, this is still very much a rumour.

    Oh, OK I see the difference now. Sorry for my misunderstanding. Given how long it takes them to get one new James Bond film out these days I very much doubt they will be filming two back to back though... :s

    That would be fantastic...but I'll be well and truly surprised/shocked if they actually do even two films back to back. I also tend to agree with the notion that #25 could well be Craigger's last - not because I want it that way, but because to play Bond at the physical level that Craig plays him makes it unlikely he'll hang on too deeply past his late forties. He's not likely to just farm out routine physical action to stuntmen (there are moments in OP and AVTAK where it looks as if Moore was never even on set for some sequences).

    That said, I'd like to see Craig do at least five, and surpass Brozzer's tenure :007)

    I think this would be a great idea for two very good reasons.

    1: It would keep us fans happy that want to experience a yearly Bond, as it was back in the 1960s.

    2: It would minimise the problems that may come with Daniel Craig getting too long in the tooth for the role. Don't want him doing a Roger Moore now do we? Craggy Craig suits the personal pain that Bond must suffer. But not TOO craggy.

    Actually, I will lob in a number 3: Surely it has economies of scale for the studio/production costs, as well as a fluid look to the evolution of Bond's career... That might even be a number 4?

    I for one am getting fed up with multipart movies--cripes, even Stephen King's The Stand is going to be filmed back-to-back-to-back to create four films. Please give me standalone films with beginnings, middles, and ends. . .and please don't let Bond become part of this trend!
